My age is inconsequential, for I am immortal.

28 next month -_-
I'm 25 but my grumpiness designation is somewhere around 75.
Also -> most of us are old enough to vote. How horrifying.
just as i thought majority of ff14 is mid 20s to 30+ considering how old the franchise is always figured that XD
turned 37 last month.
Not just so with the franchise. MMOs in general have one of the highest average age of players compares to other genres. Part of this is due to the fact that MMOs require more social interaction and teamwork than other genres. Your average teenager would find MMORPGs to be not violent enough, and can't be bothered to work as a team when "teabagging" other players in a FPS is more enjoyable.
Old enough.
er.. just turned 18 XD
26.
/10char.
19, youngest in my FC with the rank "Jail Bait".
41.... Final Fantasy fan since FF 1
27, and starting to get a bit anxious about it all.
I count my age in Hex.
I'm currently 23.
Grew up playing Final Fantasy. Pretty much begged my parents for a NES so I could play it. Played FFIV when it was FFII and FFVI when it was FFIII, and they were brand new at the time. First computer was a Commodore 64... also when it was new.
Ok I admit the last part wasn't worded with good taste (been awake now for 31 hours straight for work reasons so I'm a little stressed), but on average what I said is true. Teenagers (categorized as ages 12-17) are much less likely to play MMOs versus other game genres.
As you can see, of the participants reported (study was done using 12-17 as the age range), MMOs were only played by 21% of the sample population. On the other hand, MMOs do seem to attract an older crowd, with the largest portion of MMO players falling into the 21-35 year age range.
I know the ages aren't exactly equal so things are going to be skewed a bit (12-17 is only 6 years while 21-35 represents more than double that) and that the data doesn't account for players that enjoy ALL genres, but it does put things into perspective on which markets appeal to which players.
I'm old enough to know that this topic is "A TRAP!"
22, 23 later this year. How time flies. ._.
30, 31 this year....
But as far the rest of the internet is concerned 29 hahahaha
I did get told I look 25 last week I was very happy with that :p
Old enough to remember when color TV was just a concept. (68)
Twenty-six years old!
36, 37 in the fall.
34 this year.
I am the oldest in my fc (not difficult becose there is just 22 people) - mid30ies
Rush is my favorite band
I'm 29, but will be turning 30 in a few months. Gods, I thought I'd be married and having kids by now when I was in middle school. That being said, lots of things change (including I don't want kids anymore) and while they move slower or faster than I want(ed), they still move.
23, 24 in May.
Not that I seem to look like that, because I need to pull up my ID for anything 18+. x.x Hell, several of our clients at my workplace thought I was such a sweetheart, wasting a week's break from school in February by working. That break is only for compulsory and secondary school! T_T
I guess we just grew up with the genre.
I wonder what teens today are playing instead.
22 ... 23 in the coming months!
Thirty-Two going on thirty-three. And given how old many of the other forumites are, that makes me feel very old indeed now.
I’m from the 2nd generation of the gaming consoles and as old as the “Magnavox Odyssey ²” (also known as the “Philips Videopac G7000” where i’m from).
