It's better, at least it's not a robe. We can be dangerous but never look it. Let us show some skin, or wear something other than robes. It's so boring.

I adore the WHM set . . . from the neck down. I dislike armor that hides my character's hair, and the pointy-ness of the hood is a bit too exaggerated for my liking anyway. ;_;

Summoner is my favorite, though I suspect it will be one of those outfits that magically has more coverage on male characters, which is something that rarely fails to irritate me.

BLM actually looks pretty neat, but it looks more like a set for musketeer or something. xD

Dragoon looks amazing except for the tail...thing.

All the mages are just very disappointing. The BLM and SMN especially.

The rest of the melee classes are just okay.

I liked all of the outfits aside from the Warrior one.

Male version will coverup the belly, there is a artwork of a male character with the AF2 which has a black cloth covering the midriff.

WHM set looks awful. But the staff is great. SMN gets my vote as best dressed.

I actually like the blm gear now that I've seen more angles of it. It kind of reminds me of Merlwyb's coat. Also the weapon looks cool.

The jobs I care about.

WAR: It's like a cold weather AF1. I like.

SCH (New Main Job): I dig the heavy coat look. But the hat. A simple top hat would have been awesome. But that is...oh Light.

WHM: It's nice. Kinda wish/hope the hood can be visored tho.

NIN: Seriously not sure what else to say. Its a ninja.

BLM one looks cool. Looks like classic red Mage. Just needs that thin sword. Lol!

It's not really a cloak, though. If you look closely at the video clip of it, you'll see (when the paladin is shown from the left) that it originates from the waist. So it's more like a backside-only skirt.

Yeah, I always thought the AF1 summoner horn was a bit too long. This is worse. (SMN should have its iconic horn, just not so long)

I really feel like Artifact gear should always be iconic-looking. Alternate looks will always be getting introduced in various sets, so the AF gear should be "traditional FF" imo.
They mostly accomplished this with AF1, and again with the Dragoon AF2. I just don't know why they didnt follow suit with all of the jobs.

Monk reminds me of FFXI dancer+dynasty warriors(the hat)

Holy crap! They showed SMN and SCH gear. Normally we get left in the dust when it comes to early picture release...

The SCH gear looks terrible though. Not gunna lie.

Not in love with the complete scholar set but I will glamor on a few pieces. Jealous of the white mage set for once.

If anyone asks why Sephiroth will never be in FFXIV, this is now my answer. SCH's kidnapped him to harvest that seemingly omnipresent black wing to make their new AF gear.

It won't be. Because it's hard to make a good healer set unisex looking because you generally have the dressy type thing and
typically females are healers/supports in games and such. SCH looks like complete ass. Looks nothing SCH or gentlemenly AT ALL.
WHM looks nun-ish, but eh...it's cute on a Lala. I love PLD/BLM/BRD.
SCH, my main class got shafted...worst one in the bunch.

Curious if those weapons are the new relics.

From what I saw, I liked Scholar, White Mage, and Fisher sets. The others....not so much.

Hmmm...they didn't show the new Jobs. Were the official art from the fanfests meant to be their armor sets in this group? Because if so, then I'll add DRK to gear I liked.

It nearly looks the same as af1. I understand it kind of has to be related to your class, but they could at least have tried making something more interesting than just covering your whole head again.

Everyone forgetting about the DoH/Ls... Dat WVR Pimp Coat... and all the tops that show off the guy's stomach... heh

I remember a set of AF1 gear before the release of the game where the characters were displayed with the 70 crafted weapons (Alkalurops etc).


Also on an early ST artworks the toons were in ST gear but with weapons that still not exist.

So i wont bet that these ones are the new relics . Especially given that they will be in 3.1 only. But yeah i have great hopes for this blm staff

For me, looks a lot like Eiko Trance, with the silver horn and big wings angel-like theme, loved it!
