Release date confirmed and Early access!

Are people really complaining about the rate content is coming out? First to those people, welcome to mmo's. And sencond, there really has never been an mmo that puts out so much quality content at this pace.

Talk about pay to win. Those with early access can quickly level up and be ahead of the crowd

I've been playing MMO's since I was in early high school. This MMO does release things at a faster pace than others, but because of that, they've created a standard. They've, "Set the Bar" so to speak. Other MMO's do things other ways, but that's their design philosophy. It isn't XIV's. This disappointment is validated by many more reasons than just that.

Boohoo, you have to wait a single month longer than you otherwise would have.

You do realize the expansion dropping in March or April was never on the table, yes? You're complaining about a possible 2 month wait turning into a confirmed 3 month wait. It's not a big deal.

some ppl just wanna see the world burn and arent happy unless they are whinging about somethin lol

I have no issues with the June release. There are a few things I do hope for though.

Over the course of the next 3 months and 16 days
- Additional server hardware
- Fine check all networking and connectivity points for the servers
- Polish up the various areas
- Stress test constantly to make sure the servers won't blow up like they did with 2.0's initial Early Access

People thought I was stupid when I said late June and as late in spring as possible.....sucks being right.

Completely satisfied with the release date.

I know right lol though, I had guessed May 26th, but that's closer to the actual date than most people were guessing (early april)

I really don't mind waiting. We are getting a lot compared to some MMOs..

Show me a game that puts out what this game puts out every three months, every six months. This game puts out more content in a patch than most other big mmo's put out in an expansion.

Another boring useless event where it's probably going to be a dumb egg minion/hat/furniture

It's content yes, but it's not quality content. Especially when 75% of it is just rehashed of older stuff (primals, dungeons). It'd also be quality content if you couldn't fully beat it all within the first few days >_> Which is another thing, I can bet you, people on early access will have gotten 60, finished the story, finished the dungeons and be working on endgame before release date even happens. Tell me again how that's quality content?

I think your exagerating a bit, not everyone rush to finish everything. If you don't like what comes in the expac don't get it. WoW gave a lot less than that in an expansion.

on the one hand: "Well that sucks :/ I want it sooner"

But then given how games turn out with 'sooner' I think I'll be OK with this, I mean I still have lots I can do to keep my self occupied so there's that.
