Same here lol. Some say the junction was stupid because they powerleveled, which you totally don't have to do firstly, and about casting the magic, think of everybody a Mystic Knight in FF8 lol

No, FF3 is the worst due to the way the job system was done there, with FF9 being behind it due to so many horrid things that I don't have time to delve into them all. /opinion

Now that we have that out of the way, let's discuss a better reason for why it shouldn't be in here, shall we? Such as it not meshing well in the game, or them wanting to keep everything original or something else like that.

To me its always been a re-envision of Pandemonium. What I'd really like to see is an area that looks and acts like M.C. Escher's Relativity , or that room in Labyrinth.

Go to around the 8:20 mark. They specifically mention that it's something all Final Fantasy fans recognize, and they called it the "Floating Continent". It definitely doesn't look like the continent from III, and I doubt it's the "sky" from XI.

I've actually been pondering if they could turn Castrum Marinum into something like the Deep Sea Research Center was in FF8... I mean a dungeon, obviously. Would be epic, imo. *-*

Just imagine, we blew up their telemaporter on the outside, trapping all the soldiers within. Now it's been months or whatever later story-wise, so they've probably all gone straight-up Lord of the Flies and/or devolved into cannibalistic troglodytes.

Could certainly go with that too, all wrecked and ruined with dapper scientist zombies. Then again, the Empire might've found a way to keep it going somehow, small transports during the night going unnoticed - until they are and we have to go to investigate...? I say there are options to make it work. ^^

No thanks, I would rather get something unique, this game is lacking a lot of the charm ffxi had imo and I can only put that down to it being less unique, plus the music's not as good.

They should save the old school classics for hildabrand and season quests.

Maybe nostalgic fights will occur there (akin to the Demon Wall), but it still doesn't strike me as being a raid completely lifted from FFVI like the Crystal Tower was from III. Guess we'll just have to see! I'm not so proud that I won't eat crow if I'm wrong =)

I'm down for it. FFVIII is among my favorites, I would love to see an Ultimecia so I can have a remasterized version of "The Extreme", which is one of my favorite boss' themes, along with "The Final Battle" from FFIV. However, if implemented, don't know how they're going to chain it with the story, since the introduction of the Crystal Tower actually made sense... being related to the Allagan Empire and Dalamud.

As long as it as an awesome remixed version of the music from Ultimecia's Castle, I'd be on board xD Unfortunately I don't think it would ever happen :(

Well if I went through a lot of trouble to craft a storyline for Ultimecia, I won't just leave that post to die in a long forgotten thread(like my poor little vampire thread :( ) and link it here:
