It's a damn shame there are players like this. What is mindless frivolities to you, may be something amazing to someone else. A huge part of the game is getting weapons, minions, and mounts....so yeaaah.


Anyway, as for me, I've had trouble saving up mgp! Losing those triple triad duels really kills me :( I gotta get better!

I have wasted some on my chocobo, which was silly cause I can just buy it from vendor for gil
And a lot on the bronze pack cause someone said I can get a 3 star from it but I never got it

Thats basically it, but I think i should start saving for better chocobo breeding blah

I've bought about a dozen 2* cards I already own from winning against NPCs for over 2k a pop.

Nothing yet. I've got about 2500 saved up and i'm not sure if I wanna get cards, Setzer gear or Odin's shield. Probably start with cards since tournament and all, but after that...

I've spent some on cards, but I think I'm going to save up for Fenrir even though it's going to take five ever before I have enough. If they add more glamour weapons I might consider them, though.

Purchased Bunny Crown and Riviera Dress and some random gold/silver/bronze packs. I won't be buying packs for a long time until I get everything else...my luck is totally bad. Saving up for the Bunny Pumps at the moment. Sitting on 20k mgp so almost there.

Haven't gotten much yet. Going for the hairstyles first I think, just to have those unlocked, then maybe a glamorable weapon. After that, all in for card decks probably.

I'm only going for one thing. I have a mighty need for that adamantoise mount.

I've gotten a great deal of stuff actually... Glade Slops and Shoes, the Oasis Doublet, The new hairstyle, a handful of chocobo stat buffs, and several card packs because I can't be bothered to farm content or spam npcs to get cards.

Won the mini jackpot for 10k and bought the zu hatchling minion. Otherwise, I really haven't been doing much at the GS.

When you turn in cards to the NPC, what kind of marks do they give? Due to the horrible RNG in this game, I haven't gotten one single card from anything all week.

Nothing. Barely crossed 3k today. But once I get there, I want the hairstyle.

...oh wait, sorry, I just hallucinated. I only have 4k because I get bored of everything too fast there. So nothing yet. x.x

I got mine from the mini cactpot, chocobo racing, and playing triple triad with people I know. I've gone through 25,560 since it launched.

I can't beat the king so having trouble making MGP. Wish there was another way of obtaining better cards other than RNG drops from dungeons.

I've gotten the two things I wanted: Odin's shield and those daggers(Which ironically fit the color scheme of Odin's armor).

I haven't spent any yet, nor do I have much to begin with. I am saving up for that Fenrir mount.

About 10 bronze packs until I had every card (I got Behemoth from an NPC - no uniques in that pack), about 6 silver packs so far (Got my Tataru and Kobold, but still no Lahabrea (those are the three unique cards from that pack)), 3 gold packs so far (neither of the uniques (Warrior of Light and Zidane) yet :( ). Also, the female Oasis top, which is currently my favorite top in the game (pretty without being slutty, dyes nicely, goes perfect with the long skirt).

It'll be a while before I save up for anything big, as I need to get another couple dozen gold packs for that Zidane card (unless I get lucky) :D

I've saved up a little over 6k.

I bought a bronze and silver pack. Got a sahagin guy (forgot his name..) and an ixal card.

I'm not sure exactly what I'm saving up for. I want triple triad cards but I don't want to spend all of my points for a chance at good cards!! I may just get some of the clothing sets.

There are some players who dislike having to spend all day in a lag filled area spamming a card dual game (Seriously... if I see anymore shouting 'du.. du.. DUEEEEELLLLL!!!!' again, I'm gonna scream) in the attempt to earn points towards glamor items. Hey, if that's your schtick, then my all means please continue. If you're playing the game just so you can get everything and brag you have it all, again, please continue to do so.

There is nothing in the Gold Saucer store which interests myself apart from maybe the Fenrir mount... but unless you get a winfall of MGP, be prepared to spend almost every waking minute of the day playing TT or spamming other events to accrue that much MGP. That kind of play does not interest me in the slightest. I'd rather spend my time farming the tomes/carboncoat/carbontwine to either purchase or upgrade what I have than stand around playing cards etc.

But hey... that's just me...

Unlike some, when I play a game such as this, I have goals I want to accomplish... not just stand around wasting time earning small amounts of currency to get things which aren't really worth the time and effort except solely for bragging rights.

I've bough Momodi, Baderon and Miounne cards for 72k worth of MGP. Yes, I did not get a single other card from my Gold packs.

You can receive these cards from playing triple triad with those characters in each of the main cities, I think it would've cost much less MGP that way. Also it's more exciting playing NPCs outside of the GS cause the rules change each match! GS TT matches are so boring T_T.

It was not my intent to get THOSE cards, I'm pissed as **** because the barkeeper cards are all I get while I aim for the Zidane, Warrior of light card.

I earn 12k mgp from King Elmer III before I get my Bahamut card.

I'm saving for Gambler's Coat now! Although, I did buy a few gold triad card packs on impulse =/

Endless amounts of Gold Triad Booster Packs. Those Legendaries will be mine. I'm just really worried about when I finally get one, getting the next one will be a real pain.

I've gotten about 110k MGP since it came out and I have 30k on-hand at the moment.

Every single point of MGP I have spent was for TT cards, but now that I have 58 cards and should be able to get the other 2 I need for deck extension today through farming, I'm just going to be saving up for Fenrir.

Bought the Oasis Doublet & Oasis Halftrews (for my Male Roe), Riviera Dress (FemRoe, when I Fantasia back), the Ponytail hairstyle, and multiple Triple Triad card packs (probably spent almost 20k on those alone.)

Bunny ears and tights so far, the bustier is next!

Nothing 'cept grade 9 coverings for when i'm breeding.

Oh,ditto on spending on failed gates,i've wasted so much on that stupid typhoon gate,and like a complete moron i keep going back to it.

This. I've spent around 50k failing to get either of the five-star cards from gold packs.

Black Coeurl, Fenrir mount, and Gamblers trenchcoat.
Still trying to get Cloud card and Gambler pants.
