FLYING mounts you would love to see in heavensward

A flying lalafell mount designed specifically for roegadyn.

Guess I'll echo the comment I've made in every "Mount wishlist" thread.

I still wish they would have never introduced every winged/clawed beast in the realm as a mount it devalues the whole experience. They should have just focused on making chocobos all unique and special.

Phoenix mount, Pegasus mount, Dragon Mount, Winged Serpent Mount, Griffin Mount, personal airships, Giant Bat, Giant Eagle, Chocoboo, Giant Beetle mount, UFO, Jelly fish mount, winged pig mount, giant Owl, Magic Carpet, Flight mod for the magitech armor, a "cloud" mount, a "Storm cloud" mount, a comet mount, Tandem Psychic War Elephant... I have no idea what hasn't been said or already in development. but some of these may actually be viable as mounts.

we are already gettin dragon n griffin so ur not wrong :P id prefer fishing boat mount n add more fishing spots rather then personal airship mount :P

I got to ask how does having other mounts devalue the whole experience? They already let you get different bardings and dye your chocobo that is more then enough for them.

Insect Mount,Butterfly to be more specific.well as long as its not cockroach mount i'll be fine.

Nothing feels deadly anymore when you can seemingly throw a saddle on it. Even the mighty behemoth has fallen to being a mount.

Chocobos could have been grand but the developers now waste their time rigging hillarious riding animations for ADS mounts, and Bomb platforms. Chocobos could have been more than just dyes and barding, we could have had massive customization to the one thing you could expect to ride in a Final Fantasy game. But as it stands I imagine eventually people will.

You know what if people want it sure? I just feel it would have been way more awesome to customize something like your chocobo to be something amazing than ride every clawed beast the realm can throw a saddle on.

why not have variety with mounts?? if only customised chocobos available as mounts would be dull n boring lol with barding n dyes thats more then enough customisation for chocobos if i had a complaint for mounts atm theres way to many horse mounts n not enough badass looking 1s... thats why i havent bothered even tryin to collect ex mounts all the same just a different colour should of had 1 different mount for each ex primal

I would love to see magitek wings. Not sure how it could be made. Maybe like some backpack and if you pushed a button wings would emerge from it. Or some cuirass with attached wings.

I chose magitek wings because I had enough of that fantasy bullcrap when you magically grew wings in other games. xD Now lets put some science into it. :D

Easy fix for the afk flyes imho is to make mounts stand on ground when not moving. Just like, you know, flying things/animals do IRL?

Also I liked flying mount in WoW, and I look forward to flying mounts in this game. If people missing running into another person in game, all I will say is what the hell do you do with the other person now? It's not like you guys stop and say hi on the damn road anyways. Every day I see dead rez on the ground people just run pass, or a noob is about to be nuked, and assholes just run right through them, not pass or around, THROUGH them because it's shorter traveling distance. And besides, it's not like SE is going to take away ground mount as they introduce flying mount. If you like staying on the ground then do it, if you see everyone on flying mounts its because they rather fly. The population will decide which way of traveling is better.

flying mounts are only in flying specific areas unlike wow where flying can be done anywhere.
each mount may have an equivalent way of moving in normal area's aka the dragon mount running, and the airships hovering.

also i am very glad this random thread i have made is nearing its 8th page :D the last thread i got this big was the 2.5 trailer? thread :D which hit 22 pages :3

glad everyones enjoying this thread, i do ask not to state you "do not wish for flying mounts" or try to explain as to why you find it stupid or rediculus this thread is only for what you would LIKE TO SEE in heavenward :D
