If you want to be successful tank you have to take into account the group you are doing the dungeon with first check what manner of classes you got to work with if its mainly single target dps like MNK and DRG dont go pulling 20 mobs, for aggro until someone comes up with proper aggro meter you gotta keep hitting your change target button and just keep eye on the small (bad) aggro meter's on the party box also it helps to see if you lose aggro by looking at the colors on the enemy list red square means you got aggro any other color means you lost aggro, if you notice that a dps is dpsing different mob than you just adapt and switch your main target to that you can try correct them by using the mark target sign's but sometimes it does fail (some player's can't be helped) and sometimes you lose aggro simply because the dps is just so highly geared in that case just tell your dps to slow down a little or give you couple of seconds to establish little bit of aggro before they start nuking usually this isn't a problem unless its a 120+ BLM with the skill to pull quad flare its awesome damage but be ready to lose aggro if the enemies are still alive rest of tanking really comes down to yourself and how comfortable you are with it little tip mainly for PLD tanks warrior really shouldn't have any problem keep aggro with overpower as PLD flash and circle isn't enough sometimes so throw couple of Savage blades, rage of halones and Spirits Within on the mobs you aren't focusing it really helps out when you do switch to focus on those mobs don't solely rely on flash
