I've gotten 60+ of each of the rare dyes so I'm actually kind of surprised that you haven't gotten any. Maybe I should set up in PF with them. xD

Please don't put these into the cash shop. Keep them in the game where they started. Already paying for sub for two and money is tight. Would like to limit what goes into the cash shop as much as possible.

Alright lets make something clear, I want those to be in the game too, (retainers venture, gold saucer, etc.. etc.. all are good suggestions) BUT i also want to be able to get them as soon as I want them "FOR VANITY" and be able to get the look I want when I want it. So if you want to use 200 and 3-4 weeks of your time in game for those, go ahead I don't care. But If I want to pay 2.99$ to get it now. I'd like to be able to.
Heck, I'd even go as far as putting every piece of gear already in the game with no stats and at iLvl 1 purchasable for a few bucks. So you can have the exact look that you want !

These need to be in the cash shop because it's entirely possible to never get the color you want through ventures. Seriously some of us have enough to black out Ul'Dah.

Tired of my retainers acting like cats that bring their masters (dead birds/rats/other rodents) presents... when I send them out for quick ventures.
I have two of them at 10 ilvls apart and since the update, or supposed fix, I've only seen 3 pots of these rare dyes (2 gold and 1 jet black that i accidentally discarded thinking it was soot :/) -

Solution: make it a 4 star craft that combines 2 dye pigments (like blue or grey) + the metallic sands used for enchanted ink, such as gold. You could go so far as to make a platinum sand node, and then a paint mixing agent available as part of the ehcatl merchants. The end result would be a solid requirement of time that translates into cash, since gathering at platinum level, maxed beast tribes, and crafting at 4 star are all huge time sinks. You could probably one up it by adding the base coloring agent (one each) to each of the beast quests. That way each color requires 3 star gather, 4 star craft, and one complete beast tribe sequence.
