Hey UllrHellfire? What about a small star burst effect at the point of the yellow symbol on the shield? That may look cool as well. Like that shining star travelers used to guide themselves...to home. (I know it's not my banner and not even MY LS but from one creator to another ...just a thought.)

As for Seraphim... right on. Really a bummer to go through the work and never know if the requester liked it or w/e. Either way, you have a great portfolio of work!

I was Deff thinking that as i made it and wasn't sure as to what in all the beacon was to them so i didn't want to go to left or to right field with it I did put a light bling like on the letters on top the yellow point but for some reason i kept getting a odd feeling it looked like a light out pointing right at the user~ but like i said didnt know what type of beacon so i followed my gut and didn't add it if you'd like i can show you a pic of it with~ it.

Yea I suppose I held back too much - ironic because I have a friend who's an artist and does designs and logos and always tells me how he doesn't like it when clients give him basically no info.

Honestly, I'd feel bad to have you make a new one or work too long on ours but if you're up for it I can definitely give some more info and some design suggestions on what kinds of effects I'd like to see.

Awesome!

For starters, our logo is meant to literally represent a beacon of light - however the color choices are as such mainly due to the lack of many options in FFXIV. That being said, the emblem itself should remain intact, but a much more subtle light effect that is not so vividly yellow would be nice.

Also, the 2 shells that merged to form Beacon both had blue/white emblems - so as homage to our roots use of more blue as opposed to the dark purple/red effects would be cool. Sort of like the Seraphim logo, but more blue on the background as opposed to grey maybe. I'll leave the details of that to you but simply more blue on the color palette and less red/purple.

I like the wings effect but the yellow again is too edgy.

As for overall feel, I would say go with something illuminating and vibrant - a more aura-type feel than edgy.

I'm not thinking anything very specific but basically those are my ideas. So by all means, go nuts! :D

Again, I really appreciate the time and work you put into this. You clearly enjoy it!

Hey Ullr. Funny that this suddenly I stumble on to this thread. Nice work on the Seraphim banner ;) We were just throwing a banner contest idea around to freshen up our look. Then look what I find. I feel so honoured :D

Hey UllrHellfire, being continuously looking at these new ones, and once again they are outstanding. Now it's time to test it for me if you don't mind.

The guild name is Blades of Kaia.

That is a picture of the Amani race if it helps serve as some inspiration! If you wouldn't mind, try including a lot of green and black as those are already the main colors of the guild. If you need to go another color scheme, feel free.

Going to go with flames~ going to look into it, getting allot of dream like pic's when i google it ;) but i feel maybe you guy's leaning more towrds a riggied rough chaotic side? ? grunge feel?

Info : The LS is named after ramuh the famous summoned creature from the ff series.in particular named after his signature skill "Judgement bolt" Our colors are black and purple (exept for our banner wich is white and purple cus they had no black ) And because all founding members were and are to this day bound to Gridania i requested something abt that too :)
