[Petition] Please rename Astrologian Time mage

I like the name. It fits with them thematically. Astrology, divination via the cards & what-not. I like it.

I am fine with the current name.

plus I would not approve of a time mage with that hat.

Considering the astrologers in the observatory in Coerthas scoff at everything you just mentioned, I'm curious to see how they justify that complete 180.

If you paid attention to the things around yo u instead of raiding, you'd realize this is already in the game. Should of seen this coming, if I woulda looked at Corethas and Ishgard in general for clues instead of old FF games. Even looking at the new tome gear involving tech from Cid, should of clued us in to Machanist being a option if the world is advancing slowly in that direction thanks to Cid and obtaining more Garlean and Allagan tech.

Kind of like they justified it with ARR's design in general.

It's a shame these star observers won't be able to drop space junk on things since they aren't an offensive class. Meteor as an LB3 would be boss.

There has been no mention of their skills, for all we know they will have skills that Time Mage does not have. So unless they play like a Time Mage and have the skills of a Time Mage, I will agree with the other posters and say: NO!

Nothing in the Arcanist 1.0 lore screamed Astrologian to me.
During 1.0 i imagined Arcanist always as a class specialized in removing DoTs as a counterpart to old THM, because they have to deal with sometime dangerous cargos.

Time mage, while a pretty damn cool concept has never been interesting in practice. Haste, slow and...a bunch of filler spells. It's more suited to a action game like viewtiful joe.

And of course astrologian is not a time mage.
