1/1 Aurum Vale (Overjoyed to have got this first time. Though one of my friends has ran it almost 10 times and not seen the item drop. I'll continue to help him try to obtain it)

Well, plus a FATE takes like 3-4 minutes to clear and 3-4 minutes tops to spawn, whereas a dungeon takes 10-30 minutes to pop if you aren't a tank/healer and anywhere from 15 to 40 minutes to clear based on party speed.

You can play with tank/healer in dungeons and still progress your dps weapon.

Seriously do they seed the RNG with stats based on the player because I was one of the one with really bad Atma drop rates and this is feeling like that all over again.

For those running multiple dungeons (and having "0" drops in each), I thought you needed to do each Dungeon Sequentially? Or do some of these quests just open it up to all 3 Dungeons at once (asking for items from each)?

nah you can have the 4 quests open at once, each of them having one or 2 dungeons at a time. So you can have from 1 to 8 dungeons available at any time

Anyone notice that these dungeons are the same ones for Atma books?

Obviously not the new dungeons

Wow, that means for some people they were able to spend 3,200 Soldery (1,600 Sold x 2) and/or 40,000 GC Seals to activate 2 of those quests at once? Crazy!

actually, 2 of them don't require the 20k seals and 1600 tomes items right off the bat. I got once each item and have 3 dungeon streaks going on atm

Updated my post with a few results from today so far. And yes, I have all 4 quests unlocked, though I've only progressed through 2 of them at the moment (haven't found it in me to grind 3200 Soldiery yet X_x).

Obnoxious, finnicky trash placement, said trash has way too much HP for being way too mechanically uninteresting, the dungeon's global gimmick (toxic pee) is bland, uninteractive, and frustrating, and two of the bosses are basically the same mechanic very barely changed at all. Also, the dungeon itself is ugly, gross, claustrophobic, and just not fun to look at.

Also, taking pubs who can't watch castbars through Coincounter is obnoxious.

AV is FFXIV's Gnomeregan. You could nerf it to hell and I'd still groan every time I saw it.

I agree alot of this stuff is expensive. The one that scares me most is the pie. I'm watching it like a hawk.
Eel Pie has went from 1.5 million down to 800k for HQ. Come on..go lower.. lower..

First day I was off to a good start. Today was terrible, entire day with dozens of dungeon runs, and not a single drop. Haukke and Hullbreaker, lost count of number of runs.

Today

1/3 Hullbreaker Isle
1/2 Sunken Temple of Qarn HM

Now just need to get 400 more soldiery to unlock the 3rd set of dungeons.

Anyone on the quest A Treasured Mother? Has anyone gotten a lost treasure from any of the 3 dungeons? Amdapor Keep for 8 hrs and nothing.

I got a drop from AK after 4 runs. I haven't tried Pharos or Tam Tara HM

Zero, yes zero items so far after 2 constant days of farming dungeons, I have the quests, nothing will drop I am not sure if I am bugged or what but all my friends and FC members are almost done with dungeons and I am still at the starting line, this is very frustrating as a player when all your peers are miles ahead of you, why did Square do another RNG based system after all the negative feedback from Atma, do they care nothing for players input?

alas, se keep making the same mistake of limitless rng. This is why ppl spent a month on 1 atma. dungeons should be hardcapped, like if u don't get it, u get it on 20th run or so, just to prevent the not getting it forever thing....

Drops for the dungeons are counted as key items, so your main inventory shouldn't be an issue unless all of your key item slots were somehow full as well.


I ran AV nearly 10 times today and not a damn drop. I sure love RNG. Now to wait for someone to say how we're "not putting in enough effort"
