It's basically a massive amount of dungeon grinding for low drop items, and fetch quests. Along with new crafted items thrown in. Just as was suspected earlier on this post. Of course, that's assuming the post rings true. We'll see for sure soon.

The requirements look positively awful.

Its like every hard mode dungeon + AV and Darkhold (low drop rate when you beat the dungeon Atma 2.0) + crafted items + desynthed items.

Should make for a nice pick-up in the dungeon queues, at the very least

I feel sorry for every player who's doing dps relics... especially if you have to have the nexus equipped to get the drop. We don't know yet if nexus equipped is required.

Looks like bray SR will have a reason to return lol.

The biggest problem I have with this is... well, AV... AV... -eyes begin to twitch- my dread nightmare. I've done T5, I've done T9, and I'm now doing FCoB, but nothing can ever prepare me for the horrors of AV. What an awful dungeon it truly is.

Found it I think, big wall of text? Seems fishy to me, that poster may have been bored and wrote that out themselves using the patch notes as inspiration.

If that is in fact the quest line then I'm very happy to have something to keep me busy!

So what's the time frame on this quest line. A day, week, month(s)?

Hope you've been saving GC seals. Need 4 Bombard cores at 20k seals each. SO 80k seals

Nobody knows the drop rate in the dungeons because yet so it would be impossible to know.

I give it a week, 2 weeks top, before someone manages it.

The feeling when you realize you dont have level 30 in every crafter yet :(

Well, as usual it's going to be mostly ppl that are raiding FCoB, that will get the new relics. it's way to grindy for most ppl to bother...or at least rush it.

I don't know if it's cause I played FFXI for so long that i'm good at guessing these things just like I did with hunts before it was released on how things will work I also predicted 125 correctly because I didn't think they would make the Magitek Weapons already obsolete compared to relics this early. But Low Drop rates, Massive Grind. I AM READY!.

The More the grind the happier I am actually. Means overall less will have the finished products so a bit of an accomplishment to me. Also the more grind they make it the more leeway they have of next upgrade being on par or better then FCoB weapons.

So just got in, started quest, after a whole bunch of talking get told to go get the blood of 4 'Kings' 9 (disfigured, imprisoned, unchained, and forgotten) the first disfigured king being Tonberry in WP. The quest log says that by completing the dungeon there is a small chance that you will obtain the associated item. Not sure if it has to be done on relic class.

Also all Materia is like sold out -.-

Tool Supplier & Mender at 29,19 N shroud, for 100k

Bronze Lake Crystal is from the vendor npc in Upper La Noscea, where you take the ferry (26, 26) for 100k gil.
Brass Kettle is from the vendor in North Shroud (29,19) for 100k gil.
Sacred Spring Water is from soldiery npc (Others) for 1600 tomes.
Bombard Core is from GC vendor for 20k seals
Flawless Alexandrite is from the quest [A Treasured Mother] given by Brangwine in Mor Dhona (asks you to bring a bombard core, sacred spring water and brass kettle).

(will edit post as I get to do more stuff).

Allagan Resin is from a shop in Forgotten Springs for 100k

After WP is Copperbell Mines (Hard), the blood from WP will appear as an atma drop did after u exit the dungeon. Resin turn in opens up AV and Haukke Manor (Hard).

I got the Gobmachine Bangplate went 1/1 on it You'll get it after you leave the dungeon

I just did WP as MNK and got the item. My nexus weapon is on PLD so I think as long as you have the quest it doesn't matter which class you do the dungeon on.

Also, so far both Haukke HM and WP have dropped the items first run.

If I have everything understood it works like this

Ponze Flesh Quest
-20k seals(Bomb Core), 1600 sol(spring water), and bronze lake crystal to start
-Dzemael Darkhold and Brayflox
-Haltali and Snowcloak
-Make a furnace ring and perfect firewood
-Quest done

Labor of Love Quest
-Allagan Resin to start
-Aurum Vale and Haukke Manor(HM)
-Lost City and Sastasha(HM)
-Make a perfect mortar and pestle
-20k seals(Bomb Core), 1600 sol(spring water)
-Quest Done

A Treasured Mother Quest
-20k seals(Bomb Core), 1600 sol(spring water), a bronze kettle to start
-AK and Pharos and Tam Tara
-Stone Vigil
-Make a Tailor Made eel-Pie and perfect cloth
-Quest Done

Method in His Malice Quest
-WP to start
-Copperbell

Then you move on to whatever the last part has you do when you have all 4 items.

80k Seals, 6400 sol(but its staggered 2 start with 1600 other two end with 1600), about 400k in gil, and 8 crafted items 16 dungeons.

Haven't seen anything about an atma-like drop chance in this thread. Also it's only been out like... an hour or s/t, I doubt there are any conclusive numbers on the drop % lol

On reddit someone said he did 4 WP runs with 3 people that had the quest. after those 4 clears they had 1 drop. That is an atma-like drop chance.

So if the necessary item DOES drop, you just get it automatically if you have the quest? No rolling or anything required?

It's literally like Atma, it flashes on the corner of your screen after you leave the dungeon.

3 star recipes? Oh my lord...
Is it possible to get the recipes without having a Nexus weapon? None of my crafter friends have one.
