Where did you choose to logout prior to maintenance?

I honestly have no idea, haven't played in a few days. Like someone said earlier, I could be standing where a new structure should happen to appear.

I logged out in the most boring of places of all-- in my inn room!

Though I did see a massive line up of people in front of the rogue guild door before I logged out.. and a part of me thinks it be hilarious if everyone finds out that door isn't to the rogue guild at all and just a "ha ha made you look" moment. xD

Revenant's Toll, by a summoning bell. I didn't give much thought into it since travel anywhere is pretty quick.

Some random place in Gridania. I got kicked when maintenance started bc I was trying to run back to the summoning bell to finish what I wanted in time. XD

On the plus side, I hit lv 50 on my MNK right before that, so I'm happy I accomplished that before maintenance.

In my bedroom, at the Limsa Lominsa inn, as everybody should. Don't let your girl/guy sleep without a comfy feather bed, people.

Logged out by the aftcastle mailbox, got it all planned out; fantasia from the mail > head inn to change back to cat > to the maelstrom command to pick up daggers > and finally to the rogues guild.

Was tired last night and I move at my own pace when it comes to new content. Which is why I still haven't unlocked Ramuh. I'd honestly drop money and forfeit all rewards to not have to do all of these story quests @______@

This isn't ffxi. Anywhere in game takes about a minute to get to and you won't claim anything by not needing that minute to get there before others. There is no strategy, there is no "everyone make sure you log @ Dragon's Aery". I just tried to get as much done as possible, "logged out" when the 90k hit while crafting the last of my ixal dailies.

I am happy to report that after having a few spirits with friends in the adventurers guild I was responsible and safely made my way to my bed at the local inn.

Sitting outside the FC house, it's usually where I tend to log out these days xD

In a secure logout point. I ALWAYS log out at the house or in an Inn.

Revenant's Toll. I'll be picking up the main story and two new hard modes, then porting to my personal house and watering my garden to save it from the brink of death(or whatever). My friends and I are planning on running all the new dungeons as soon as servers are up. It's sort of our tradition. Get up early, go in blind and have some good laughs.

Should have been Limsa so can get Rogue right away, lol

You're right it's not ffxi and because of that we aren't necessarily guaranteed a moghouse. Some people may prioritize personal housing, others want the jump on starting new jobs, and some like to watch the marketboards for patterns to make the most profit. To each their own I suppose.

I will touch upon your comment of staying on till 90k and admit I've always logged out ahead of maintenances because I'm a worrier and I don't want anything bad happening to my character's data lol yes I know it's a silly worry but still stress about it XD

I was standing in my garden.. i guess i will have to tend to my glazenuts and thavnairian onions right away in the hope they don't die if maintenance time extends.

Iirc, I'm in Limsa's inn, to try that new hairstyle then rush for a small house in mist. ;_; hah.

I was in Revenant's Toll right before the servers were going to go down. I then quickly teleported to my house in The Goblet, because I didn't want to be there.

Mist, it's my main hub aside from RV. :P

I logged out in the most deserted place in Eaorzea so I can load up fast.

In front of my fc house, ready to save my plants and train my chocobo before losing myself in all the new quests/scob farming/Shiva attempts I can get in before digging my heels back into t9 until my eyes bleed for the week.
