I saw no problem with MED2 and Regen stacking.. All this does is make SMN groups OP since there DoTs can stack.. TBH whm MED2 stacking was the only counter to mutlple SMNs DoTs....
Might help to mention the difference in amount of healers on flags in NA/EU matches vs JP ones lol. In NA matches..always seems to be a bit of a shortage...in JP ones..you so much as fart in opponent's general direction, they get healed. 3+ Healers is very very very common and hard to remove. Hence..the buhbie stackie-stackie regen. A double-edged sword for NA healers since less survival power now (though I personally couldn't be any happier about it..less healing either team or foe = more kills :D ..and more death but w/e)
I don't mind the regen/med II nerf. Stacking HoT was just so strong. So now you get less mileage out of stacking whms. The melee dps getting more self heals is pretty nice too.
I don't really have much problem with the swiftcast nerf either. Honestly, blm is a big threat even with the potency nerf on one attack.
Not a fan of the testudo change though. I liked it better as a single target thing; it gave the pld skills more of a "protect one target really well" kind of feel, as a opposed to war's "protect everyone sort of okay"

I kinda liked countering healer stacks and how the LB mechanic came into play. Any more of this and PVP may become quite dull and more repetitive than it already is.
They are removing the rank restriction from i90 gear? Boo, and I was actually gonna feel semi-special equipping it (you know, that whole "I earned it" feel)
No, don't even try to debuff the aetherflow. My only skill to defend myself on frontline just Lustrate...
lol so now that they give free self heal to DPS, can we get cleric stance back for healers? I mean they tweaked it now so that every jobs in frontline can DPS + Heal except for Healers themselves due to the last nerf.
If we're gonna be boring like GW2 and have every classes be DPS with a self heal we might as well go all the way for white mage and scholars.
For myself, I'm pretty much gonna be FORCED to pick up a back up class that I don't particularly enjoy playing in PVP in case I queue in and my team has like 4 white mages. I practically have to switch to a DPS or tank to balance out my team and make sure we can compete without dead weights. Most people might not even have the same luxury of having a geared back up class to swap to. At LEAST allow us to save skill specs for each of our class so we don't waste our time re-speccing skill when we want to switch.
This new patch is just gonna drive more people away from frontline slowly and worsen the quality of matches but w/e I'll let the in game population speak for themselves. Hopefully whoever's in charge of PVP grow some balls and come on the forum to discuss the way PVP balance is heading so we know to stop investing in classes that might be nerfed to oblivion in the future.
Agreed... I don't mind healing but they really made healers dull in Frontlines for sure and Immortal Flames already had problems with finding healers now on average we have 2-4 healer alliance combined because most healers loved Cleric Stance and don't both healing..... And far as Wolves Den Im not even sure why they would even consider taking Cleric Stance away from arena PvP because having Cleric Stance up while healing would really increase your chances of loosing. The bust damage in Wolve's Den versus Frontlines is nowhere near the same so you have to strategically know when to CS+dps and NonCS+heal...

Soooo....at some point, I need to start doing FL's again because 'light farming' and ranking (currently rank 40). Buuuut: They made it so WHM (the role I not only main, but really only want to queue as due to light farming), is basically nerfed to the point that having more than one in each party is pointless. So I either have to knowingly say 'screw you all, my lights are more important than wins' and hardnose being a WHM if their are multiple in a group, or swap to SCH/SMN and hope I can be useful that way. I understand that they nerfed the stacking due to how the JA database is using WHM's in play....but man, that was a little cold, esp to other data centers that didn't rely on WHM stacking near as much...add to that the swiftcast nerfs and if anything, I see smn stacking being the 'new' thing in the near future (stacking DOT's that can only be removed via a single-targeted, single buff esuna'd AND now no 'stacked HOT's to compensate the health loss from stacked DoT's)....oh and SMN's can cast many of their DOT's faster than the other mages can cast their respective spells AND have 'spread' abilities etc to make the damage far worse.
Still, my biggest gripe isn't the HOT stacking loss, its that this coupled with the CS nerf (which effectively nerfed holy), there's little to no reason to WANT more than 1 WHM in your party now. No other job atm quite suffers this stigma.
I guess instead of the 'swan' look SE should have made WHM the 'duck' since all we are now is sitting ducks anyway.
To the BLMs, I know it sucks to get nerfed but you gotta remember that healer survivability got nerfed hard (which are your main targets). So maybe during their internal testing, the BLM double flare was too strong after unstacking the regens.
Okay. So go in solo Healer against me. I'm walking up to you, stunning, full swing, spirits after the stun, then stunning again (btw you're dead by now cause of the DPS hitting you).
