Your reimbursement is being able to play the game again after the maintenance ends.
I think we need to tell the OP that his reimbursement for maintenance is a free patch... 9238 more times.
I will more than gladly accept compensation if offered, because why not? I do/will not demand it though.

Go back to wow if you miss your reimbursement. The majority of FFXIV players (particularly the ones familiar with FFXI) really don't care about reimbursement for patches and maintenance.
Also "poor dude" likely knew ahead of time posting a thread like this would get many pages of negative/opposite response. It's not like he invented the wheel with this thread.
All the same, I feel bad for OP, too. People shouldn't go through live with such a sense of entitlement. It's not healthy for the ego.

o_O servers being down during large patches is normal....
They aren't being unreasonable with the down time. There is no need for any sort of reimbursement.
Hate to be that guy, but subscription periods are per 30 day increments rather than calendar month. 720 hours is correct

Are they planning on fixing the 9000 frontlines error?
Cause it seems almost like they don't really know or care about it.
I think they're probably out of ideas on how to fix Frontlines and, thus, are working on the servers to maybe solve the problem there. Would also go a long way to fixing lag issues that pop up every so often. To the original post, what do you mean 'we'? I don't have any problems with games taking time to install patches and fix infrastructure. Unless YOU are the community, don't speak FOR the community.
If OP still isn't satisfied with 2.4 content as compensation, here's something else that'll help compensate. We're getting an XP bonus to help get us started on ROG.
