Then I have to emphatically disagree sir. There are a few reasons why, but most importantly (to me, at least) would be that no one would ever have any need of airships. Ever. Period. And chocobos would be relegated to using them just to get you from the crystal to your destination, if that, assuming you could summon one in the field.
So tell me: what is final fantasy without chocobos and airships? It's not FF, that much is certain.

i think after chocos and airships we will all have much more anima stored. As long as these crazy people dont ask SE to limit anima any more then 100 and 1 every 4 hours then im fine.

I still think it would be nice if we could buy anima from an npc or something. 1000 gil = 1 anima. It would be something to sink all the tons and tons of gil some players have from when leves gave out a lot more gil than they currently do..

i have 10 retainers
and i dont feel bad about it in the slightest

its not cheating, its me using my resources that i have at my disposal

they are seperate accounts, and when the game goes p2p i will have the choice of keeping them or paying for them
of course im not gonna keep them, but im gonna max out how many retainers im allowed to have on 1 account, itl be the same thing

but thats WAY off topic

and its still not cheating or exploiting, learn what those words mean

it must also be cheating to have someone else sell stuff for you or to pay for teleports from other people

its technicaly the same thing

What did Vedis say? I could care less if someone disagrees, but I do care that I'm being disagreed with and expected to swallow 'deal with it' as an acceptable response. Vedis was so far off from my point that it's unimaginable in the first place. All he cares about is that he has enough anima for 20 people and everyone else needs to shut up.

Also im not sure how long youve been playing, but at the beginning when your actions dictated sp mages wuold spam buffs to get crazy high sp. They played the game the way it was designed but SE deemed this as cheating because it was exploiting the game in a way not intended. So i ask you, do you think SE intended on the game being free and you have 10 accounts equaling 1000 anima and 20 retainers and extra gil for having you mules tag along on leves and behest. I dont think so but maybe its subject to opinion.

if it is not against the rules, it is not cheating

every mmo has people who dual box guess what, NONE OF THEM are illegal unless it specificaly states in the terms of service you are not allowed to have more then 1 account per real person(which it doesnt)

please learn what the words mean before you use them

so the ability to buy more accounts and owning an extra computer or 2 is a design flaw?

i think you sir need a reality check

its a 100% legal practive in every mmo for people to have multiple accounts and dual box(as long as they arent botting with it)

That's ridiculous. Why don't we just make the game take place in a series of 10x10 rooms, and put everyone on hoverounds so they don't have to walk anywhere.

Turn FFXIV into the Buy n' Large Axiom, that's what you want?

As much as they would like to, a few of them decline simply because they do not have what it takes to get to camp in a reasonable amount of time.

ive said this in MULTIPLE other thread when it comes to this arguement

if you DO NOT have the time to do something, then you do not have the time, plain and simple

the fact is we already get teleports everywhere, and it has to be kept in check with a cost

if you know your gonna wanna go somewhere next time you log in, go there during the current session so you can be logged in there

pay for a teleport so that you dont have to run the distance(people do sell them you know)


but "i need this for free cuz i dont have time to do it" is the WORST excuse you can use for anything


that kinda thing is only valid when asking for content(in which case its only valid in asking for content that doesnt take as long to complete, which is more understandable especialy in games where they have stuff that takes several hours to do)

How is anyone supposed to know 100% or even 50% of the time when they'll need to be at a certain place in the future? If that were the case, there'd have been no previous issues with anima cost!!

The anima system is perfect as is, There will eventually be Chocobo's and other ways to travel. Anima is a quick teleport, all you need is two buddies in a group and you can teleport all over the place, cuz you share teleports, meaning you could do all three areas leve quests at the cost of 4 anima a day

um....yea, im not sure if you are familiar with the saying but it means that things can have a different meaning to differnt people such as i believe that exploiting SE's decision to make the game free2play for now and the vedis thinks that it is just another tool to use at his disposal. its called having a job and being able to afford things others cant

if the game was p2p and i was doing it, would it be any different?
of course not!

its something you dont like people doing, therefore its "cheating"
you use the word to suit your own needs and do not use the actual definition of it

theres a bit difference, i am not cheating, no one else doing it is cheating, it is just something you dont like people doing and dont agree with as far as any MMOs ability to allow people to do it
