Indeed. They say three months and sooner than you think which means at least four months maybe more.

I'm not saying that I'm ready for the next expansion, because I'm definitely not, but I think the more curious question is when we will have a next expansion and what sort of story could it be about? As for this matter I think end of October is likely.

Hoping for the last week of October at least, wouldn't be surprised if it got pushed to November, almost 4 months after 2.3.

I'm sacrificing all the lalas for a 21st release date. It's a break for me so I can play like a no lifer for a week or so and get started on the Nin nexus at least. I'm hoping that they finally open up new website next week. I need my shiny stuff fix while grinding for supras.

Maybe the mods will take mercy upon us and grace our weary heads with a hint....

That lead about the japanese magazine sounded promising but, from the translation posted earlier, aren't they just going to be talking about it? It didn't say it was being released before then or even shortly after then... Did it?

But we are all making guesses, so I'll make one too.

I think they will release it maybe before 2015 and before 2016 at the very latest. Did I win? :P

I'm putting my money on Oct 28th. That way they preview 2.4 on the 19th to get player's feedback and reactions, then they take a week for final debugging and testing. Release Tuesday morning to coincide with the weekly in-game reset, and at the same time they'll release the Halloween event so we can all have our costumes before the 31st. That also puts it at 113 days between July 7th to Oct. 31st, making it the longest time between a major patch by 1 day (former champion being 2.0 - 2.1 at 112 days).

They haven't release the date yet, because they are gonna wait tell us what ever is gonna be in 2.4 won't make it. Or it's something entirely different and then Yoshi-P will have another already translated post saying the original thing he said was not what he actually meant even though that's what his original post said.

They will release it the day that the recurring subscriptions ends/renew. If you notice it was like this for the major patches.

that's not the case. I've been subbed since day one and my payment has been processed on the 1st october.

also, there's no "fixed" date for subs. your sub starts the day you sub and lasts exactly 30 days or whatever you pay for.

You know. I think I got it. They are waiting until after fanfest so that during fanfest they can reveal the surprise that Rogue actually, despite what they said, branches into both Ninja and Thief! Omg Yoshi good job you got me!

Nah. That's when they announce a 'bug' where if you change jobs to Ninja and have either 'Sasuke' or 'Naruto' as your character's first name, that the character will be deleted.

People are already prepping for it. The number of "Narutos" and "Madaras" I've seen running around has almost tripled since the announcement.

With the way Naruto is going, it's better than seeing a ton of "Sasukes". I'm surprised that I haven't seen more FF ninja related names.

Did you guys know that there was a error in the official translation about Rogue being released?

He actually said Rouge was being released next patch!

Personally I'm looking forward to having flawless make-up here in a week or so. Sorry to all you naruto fans. Ninja is bound to come eventually though!

Unless I heard that wrong... I'm pretty sure yoshi-p said Rouge and not Rogue.
