Imperial Assaults Where & When?

Do these still pop? and how to know when?

Not sure havent seen them in a while. Would like a peregrine helm since i never got the onion helm due to linking to beta account and no way of knowing it until too late.

Fought them in Bloodshore and Tranquil, after talking to alfgar in ul dah.

I've been out at Camp Tranquil for a couple days now, haven't seen the NPC or received any NPC related messages other then Behest & the new Grand Company Caravan Escort.

I've done one of these twice since 1.19, both times at Emerald Moss. Apparently they pop at the lvl 10 camps now, and there is a separate cheevo for each. I've no idea on the timing though. But there is an NPC in Grid that talks about an invasion during the recruitment phase, so i suppose there is an npc in each city that does that for the respective lvl 10 camps when it's about to start. There's also an NPC that pops at the camps themselves and tells you the general direction to go to meet up with another NPC to actually join up.

As far as I know, right now there are 2 zones under imperial attacks:

- South of Camp Emerald Moss (grants "Victory Beneath the Canopy" achievement)
- East of Camp Glory (grants "Victory in the North" achievement)

Last one involves massive killing of imperial soldiers in order to have NM Imperial Pilus Prior spawned.

for the rewards, [camp glory] gives 3 type of medicines, one made enemy go crazy (still have no idea what's it do maybe increase enmity) one gives 155 hp for 10 mins, one reduce enmity (used on raid boss from flashing red to red). and crystals...
I joined like 5 battles. One of them dropped 3 +3 armors R35ish.
It's pretty fun. Too bad the general public still have no idea there is such event existed...

Thanks for the updates! This will stop a lot of us from wasting our time at the old camp sties, waiting on the event.

Another NPC poped 1 week ago in Uldah, about another Garlean Assault on Camp Glory. I checked it, but didn't found them. It may be cool If the NPC can say, "North of Camp X" or "East of Camp Y"

Any idea on the frequency of these now, particularly in Coerthas?

They tell you Camp Glory then when you talk to the npc at camp they will say just to the east of here.

What level are the imperials?

Emerald Moss had them around lvl 20-25 iirc.

Hmm this event is kind of stupid, half the time they aren't up and when they are you have no real way of knowing.

So I've been standing around in Camp Glory for ages and nothing. I started doing some mining there just to pass the time but kept running back to the camp in case they had arrived. Nothing. Does anyone out there know when/where this fabled assault takes place?

The Imperial events tend to have a limited duration. The Camp Glory and Camp Emerald Moss raids were only in the 1.19 patch, so since we have moved onto 1.20 they are no longer available. Potentially new raids or other Garlean event are due to take place

Thank you for the reply - saved me a long time there (even though I gained a mining rank waiting! lol). I guess I'll have to wait for this to happen at some point in the future.
