[Bard] Novus Stats — I still haven't gotten mine :P

You need 512 accuracy for turn 9... Unless you enjoy missing in the most critical phase.

I have not been on for days so do not recall were i am at. But now i really do not know were to go, lol
I think i was at 34 crit and 20 something determination. Is there a certain stat that Nexus takes if you have 3 stats? Like say the highest ones or is it rng like so much of this game? I would much rather have the + for det and crit

You need all 31 det to receive a nexus bonus of 1. 3x crit will receive 1 bonus and 44 will receive 2. The most a nexus can give is 1 det and 2 crit

You sure? Cause I think that's the requirement for MNK/DRG/SMN. iirc, BRD only need almost 500, cmiiw. Can you provide the proof of BRD needing that much accuracy?

Bard shares the same melee accuracy threshold as all the other physical dps: WAR, PLD, MNK, DRG, BRD. BLM has a different cap, SMN has a separate cap for their pet. Finally, BRD's accuracy may look different on a parser, but that's largely due to Hawk's Eye.

It's the front cap and you attack from the front in the last phase. You need the same accuracy as tanks

491 is the flank cap and is fine till the last phase.

The miss rate is rather low and insignificant, I have known bards that ignore the front cap and go with sub 500 accuracy (of course meeting the flank req at least).

Yeah last week I went in with 501 acc, I had 3 Auto attack misses, 1 straight shot and 1 misery's end. I would rather hit 100% though, more dps if I actually hit her.

This reset night I went in with flank accuracy, I didn't check my misses but my DPS was 337. Even if I miss some auto attacks or something I think it doesn't really matter if your DPS is high enough. But of course if people are dealing ok-ish DPS due to accuracy issues then it is more important to raise it I guess. Flank accuracy would probably result in an overall accuracy of 98% or so in T9 I think.

Did the same thing on DRG (yes i know this is a bed thread) but I found that this was cost effective but still gives you a really good weapon, and more importantly will be more relevant in 2.4 than the soldiery weapons.

I do want more determination but The Savage IV materia on Leviathan remains at around 650K. Sb has not done much for me so far.
I guess they did not mention yet what acc is needed for 3rd coil? While i am sure the Relic will see more upgrades i am now thinking i just may need to add some acc but wanted a little more determination first, that and i have a bit of ocd so need even numbers, lol
