Guess that depends on how good the petting is.... and what else is going on at the time.... =)

It seems that Miqo'tes actually purr when they talk sometimes, not all of them because of Y'shtola but the leader of the U tribe does and I've seen a few Miqo'te NPC do it too.

The "Y" tribe is related to Jaguars (it's actually in the Miqo'te lore) so this supports my theory. :)
