1) What is the main stat for Ninja, STR or DEX?
2) Is the new card game you've been hinting at really Triple Triad from Final Fantasy VIII? If so, will you be able to challenge NPCs outside of Gold Saucer?
3) Have you seen the large list of patch additions & changes archived on BlueGartr and do you still agree with most of it?

Most of it is already known to some degree. Though if you insist:

- Rogue archetypes are generally portrayed as burst-damage classes in modern MMORPGs. This means that their damage can spike and makes them very strong against casters in PvP. Will ninja's damage output be following this route?

- Poisons are supposed to be a key part of rogue's gameplay. Will ninja use mudras to replace poisons or will mudras enter the game as an additional mechanic for ninja players to put to use on top of poisons?

May be too late, but here's my question for Yoshi P:

* Can you consider more interesting Gear Options & Stats (e.g., "Enhanced Rampart" "Counterattack +1%") in the future, that allows for *some* Horizontal Progression (same Item Level), without the need to constantly push a New Item Level every few months?

What gear and primary stat Rogue/Ninja will be using?

For the most part, ask questions that we haven't heard 50 times already and ones we know how he will respond. If anything about directly asking about new jobs that isn't Rogue/Ninja, he will just say "We are looking into it" or "Cannot say at this time."

Can someone other than you interview him please?

Seconded on the lewd gear! A solitary set of lewd gear does not satisfy a gear style preference for long. Given all the subligaria for Melee Classes, I did find it odd that less 'open' gear was available for Mages.

There, I spoke for myself, it falls in line with her preferences. She's justified in saying 'we'. Now quit jumping down the throats of players who decided to speak a preference different than yours.

He has already answered these two in the past. He said the FC summoning system hasn't been forgotten, but still in development stages. As for redoing classes and jobs, he has no plan to do that and still keeping it the Tank/Healer/DPS setup as it is now.

Dying Allagan Gear

Q: Has he considered allowing players to dye Allagan and High Allagan Gear?

Having seen Unei and Doga's green High Allagan outfits, I was wondering if this was perhaps a plan he was considering further down the road.

its actually been confirmed time and time again, comes 3.0 the jobs/classes are getting an overhaul

Wrong, that comment was about adding new job archetype such as Support Job not redoing the job system. He said himself they might have to do something in the future since the actual one is too limiting.

I didn't say it right, I was more in referring to changing the overall dynamics of the battle system. Same time though, I never have heard him say he is overhauling all the classes/jobs in 3.0. Is there a source for this? Only thing halfway confirmed is the level cap increasing.

To Yoshi P: according to your development team, you are trying to implement Greatsword weapons for future classes/jobs.
#1: Are the Greatswords weapons considred to have a similar look to regular broadswords, or something big like Claymores ala in a manner to the Buster Sword or Guts Dragonslayer?
#2: All in all, are you planning to implement a job with said Greatsword weapons before, during, or after 3.0? This does not count for katana 2h weapons
#3: Have you considered there playing syle be something like a slow attacking/cooldown recharge but heavy damage/enimty dealer.

Finally, with your direction on having classes or jobs not similar to Final Fantasy's XI's or before that. Perhaps being entirely different. Do you mean that some classes/jobs will be in different roles? Ala a XI damage dealer being a tank in XIV?

This is a general question not related to jobs or classes. So I recommend this one the most.

Overtime in this game, I really wish we had a tree of sentences to choose in more instances with dialouge. Like Giaus, or the recent one when talking to the Doma children in 2.2. Sure it would lead to the same conclusion and continue the story with no effect, but it at least gave your character some time for role playing as someone I want to be in the game. Not just entirely a warrior of light. So would you be implementing more content where are given choices or dialouge trees that either are made for fun, or bring different resulst in the scheme of things?

1) is it possible to be able to upgrade abilities we use in pve soon?
2)Will class glamour restrictions be removed?
3)Can we get more cross class abilities?(not slots)
4)Will they lower the price of gear and weapons bought by allied seals and wolf seals?
5)Will they con sider being able to summon stainers like chcocbos?

I remember he said both those things. How long ago did he say that about the Global Summoning? I just think its been long enough that it would be nice if we could get an update. Is it postponed to 3.0 because the "major event that will end 2.0" will set the stage for the system? It's been so longsince saying anything about it that unless you have been following things closely since 2.0 beta or longer, you have no clue what I'm talking about. That and it might help with all these "Fix the summoner!@!!1!" threads.

I said redoing the class/job system not a holy trinity rework. I read an interview with gamewatch (i think) Blue Gartr where he said hes thinking about maybe reworking how the armory system works to make it easier and more accommodating to release new classes and jobs. As it stands its difficult to try and come out with a new job when you have to use new weapons every time. and the multiple jobs per class is also something he feels needs fixing. In its current state players have to choose between them and you are restricted in your skills when you take on a job by what is provided by your class. I was hoping to hear a more solid position on this and I really hope they rework it but he said it wouldnt be until 3.0.

Well, we need to look into this and whether we want to keep that plan, it’s something we have to consider as we add new jobs and classes. One of the more difficult things with the system is that when a job is derived from a class, it's tied to the class's actions. Also, when we make multiple jobs from one class, the weakness with having multiple jobs branch out of one class without being able to freely switch stats around is exposed. This wasn’t a problem initially because both of those jobs were simultaneously added and it was planned from the start, but now we have to carefully think about this. One thing we could consider, for example, is a hybrid job derived from more than one class, but it may change depending on what we want to add. The number of jobs will increase even further with 3.0 (the expansion pack), and at that point we might decide on an entirely new mechanism, so please hang on for further details.

Sweet! I only found the one comment on it. Can you link me to more information, I would like to see the comments where he stated for sure he was changing it. What I read, he was still looking into it and hadnt made a decision yet. Since he did this "time and time again" there should be lots of sources on this. Can't wait for your reply so I can read them. :)

"Today" became 2 yesterdays ago, so I don't think more questions would be accepted now.

What was the reason for choosing a 2.5 second global cool down? The longer cool down makes me feel, as a player coming from other MMOs, like the combat is a bit slow and lethargic, especially at lower levels.

Follow up question: would you ever consider reducing this to 2/1.5 seconds?
