Age group didn't stop them from having one at the past FFXI Fest. Anyone under 21 has to be accompanied by a person 21+ through most of Vegas anyways. And its not like they serve drinks to minors.

I got a ticket, then booked my flight and reserved a room at the Rio a few minutes afterwards. So a long as everything goes okay, i'll be there. ;)

Staying at the Rio. Decided I didn't want the hassle of travelling to and from the festival site. Better for me to just be an elevator ride and short walk away.

Going, as are at least 14 others from our FC & LS. Still trying to get a solid headcount. Most are staying at the Rio with others scattered elsewhere.

Booked Rio the day they announced the dates for super cheap, and got my ticket in the first batch. I'm technically flying in on Wednesday, then spending Thursday around Vegas.

My husband and I will be there! So excited! Rowyne Moonsong and Eluri Olde will be looking for others from Balmung!

We've decided to road trip it and drive from Missouri, so we'll be looking into more affordable accommodations. The Rio really jacked up their rates that weekend because of the event.

I'll be going as well. Booked a room at the Rio not just for the convenience, but I also want to see Penn & Teller.

Judging by the responses so far, it sounds like the Rio will be to Vegas what the Sheraton Hotel is to Seattle during PAX.

We have seven (potentially eight) members from Ghost in The Link Shell- Sargatanas attending the fan fest together! All of us are staying at the Gold Coast :D Figured we can skim on the hotel because none of us will spend much time in it during the festival!
I know three members from our neighbor FC (Crisis Core) in the Mist will be attending as well!

I will be flying in Friday early morning and leaving Tuesday night. Can't wait!

Woohoo, more Sargatanas people. I almost started to worry that our server would be horribly under-represented.

My boyfriend (Gig'em Aggies) and myself are going! We are on Siren in MVP (FC). We have some other FC mates who will also be attending, and our raid group SMN. lol So excited! I haven't picked my hotel yet I didn't want to stay in the RIO... I'm thinking the ARIA.

Carbuncle Plushy of Balmung checking in! I'll be there, in plush form. (( well... there will be a Carby plush with me )) *rambles on* So tired, just got home from Otakon, and met a fellow FF14'er who made the best purse of all time, a giant Carbuncle plush purse! Seriously, you made my week hahaha! Looking forward to seeing everyone in Vegas :)

Just finalized some roomshare information with a few people from Reddit to ease the cost of hotelness, staying at the Palms.
Still hoping for someone else interested to traipse out of the woodwork to make it even cheaper, and hoping I find someone that wants to carpool...
But no matter what happens, I'll be there and I'm pretty excited about it.
Never been to any kind of fan festival for anything before, the only experience I have is E3, but that's probably way different I'm assuming.

Me! Gold Coast ftw! I'll also be staying there.

Me me me! My friend and I are headed there that Thursday and leaving Monday, staying at the Harrah's that's a few blocks away from the Rio. We're both from Mateus, which is small, but it'd be cool to meet other people from other servers as well. Who wants to meet? :)

Managed to book the room before I got my tickets for Fanfest proper. I was lucky to get the event tickets in the first place though, all the technical problems and such.
