I think i got a few from the chest in the next room after Coincounter. You also have a chance to get them as reward from lvl40+ Leatherworker leves along with Uraeus Skins.

I know the Demimateria III comes from Item Level 70 items (LOL@that) but what kind of items provides you with the Master Demimateria we need for almost all new tools?

Artisan gears. Specs and Tools both.

Are they really the only things? I would have hoped for some more really.

And I've managed to get golsmith and alchemist up to 100 now, gonna start crafting a load of spicy relish to get some artisan specs. I might go for the culinarian 75 tool first off to speed things up a bit.

Unfortunately I bought and converted a load of carpentry wands instead of alchemy wands, so I've got that sat at about 10 when I didn't want any points on that class. Was gonna go for blacksmith but it's gonna take forever to get the points out of carpentry. Euch.

Grats! What did you do to get from d90-d100 on ur GSM? I'm assuming you did i90 gold specs? How many did you desynth to get u to 100? Also have you seen any Masters/Field3s drop from the Artisan Specs? At which level did you start to see them dropping? I'm currently 0/15 on Artisan Specs from d79-d89. I'm starting to think the odds of Masters droppin increase as you get higher dskill.

Eg. Masters have 10% drop rate from A.Specs with d89 skill vs. 40% drop rate with d100 skill.

I haven't converted anything at 100 yet, but I've had a few fieldcraft 3's from artisan spectacles, can't remember when they first started appearing though. I've been doing loads of astrolabe clinometers, suspended trillium bulbs etc for fieldcraft 3s. 20-25% rate on those maybe. Incidentally, you get battlecraft demis from the AF augmentation parts, not fieldcraft like the other parts.

I was under the impression you could only get masters from artisan gear when desynthing at level 100, but I don't know really. I haven't had any yet, that's for sure.

The last stretch for goldmsith involves loads of god spectacles, not sure how many. 30 or 40 possibly. Melded 3 times on each. I did try garden ponds, but myth prices have come right down now so they're more expensive and take way longer.

Anyone got any titan demimateria yet?

Thanks for the clarification. Thats very interesting regarding the AF Augmentation parts for ALCH. I cant see myself ever doing this to level up my desynth skill though lol Thats gonna be verryyyy expensive but i guess theres no other choice to a d90 ALCH.

What are people doing for wvr. Mine is almost to 60to but my only goal is to get master demi. What are my options and the quickest way to get there? Do i have to have bsm for mastercraft?

I would presume you can get master demis from the forager's hat, but I'm not sure anyone knows for definite yet.

Perhaps it's just sheer blind luck but at Lv.83 on my GSM de-synth I have already received x2 Mastercraft materia from de-synthing Artisans Specs. Haven't seen any Fieldcraft III though.

I'm around 80 desynth in cooking. Using Silver Sovereigns to level up, are there any other fish that are good to use around 80? The Sovereigns are a little too uncommon.

Pirarucu @ North Shroud - got me to over 94 plus all other fish you'll be pulling from that creek are pretty high level (no low level rubbish there) so even when they stop increasing your desynth level they'll produce something else than tons of sand (I can bild my own beach with it) - shards, crystals, lot of clear demi and dyes - well worth it. Got The Dissasembler title purely on fish / CUL already last week - most likely first on server as I've not seen anyone else with it yet and even few people were already surprised to see it ...

I am 71 in Alchemy, anyone have any advice for what I should be desynthesizing?

Madman's Whispering Rod unless it doesn't give you any exp anymore. Then, I'd probably move on to Suspended Trillium Flowers? Ooh! The Deus Ex books! They're i70 and take Minimum, which I'd expect to be the cheapest Philo ingredient.

After all that, you'll want to finish up with Titan drops. They all seem to be ALC desynthable. That's probably why I've seen so little Demimateria of the Crags. If that's too expensive for you, the Augmentation items may be cheaper. They're also i90.

Yeah, Madman's are still to give me very very little. :(

The mossy weapons are pretty easy to make.

My fisher alt is CUL 30, CUL desynthisis 71, leveling on Caravan eels and Halibut. She has ALC 28, no other crafts. I will start her on ALC desynthssis someday but as her highest combat class is 43 I can't see her maxing it anytime soon.

My main has all crafts to 50. So far Goldsmith 47, Leather 44, probably going to do Blacksmith next.

This desynyhisis stuff just could get me interested in running high level dungeons....

I'm at bsm 64 right now , getting a lot of battle craft and fieldcraft 2 demimaterias
I need advice from any bsm's on how to proceed from now on , I was thinking if starting with i55 militia tools and maybe barbarian bardiches? Does that sound right?
Plus how much increase in exp should I be aiming for per desynth,
