Error: 5006 - The Lobby Server Connection Has Encountered an Error.

Same error, "kicked" from game 5th or 6th time today, and i'm not talking about past hour, but like 10 :/

Approximately 6:30PM EST I got the 5006 error. Took between 10 and 15 tries before I was able to log in. I'm on Aether- Balmung.

11:30 PM EST. Was receiving the same error. after the 5th try I went to Data Center to see which one I was on. Confirmed it was primal, closed the screen and tried to log on again. Got in, so it may be worth checking/changing data centers as suggested.

I am having the exact same issue. Today was the first time it has happened. I have not successfully logged in, after trying over 20 times throughout the day. I tried the swap data center trick and it did not change the outcome.

This has been happening to me from time to time and I can get in after my 2nd attempt, but today I've just tried 5+ times an I can't get in.

Same problem here, 3 days and it's worse and worse, unable to enter server

started happening around 1:30ish AM 7/4/14 for me on Leviathan server. was crafting near quarrymill, got zero ping on uploading, server lost connection. then tried loading into it again, whipped up to character select screen, put me into a queue and then errored out and now it's "the lobby server connection has encountered an error - 2002" for the past 40-50 mins and i lost count of how many attempts and data center swaps just to make sure. all other worlds i could go into the data centers and start playing. just not Primal data center and my character. huge frickin' inconvenience as i was basically done with provisions and supplies for my GC, just had to turn in majority of them >:|

also, wanted to point out i haven't had any connections issues since the game launched and they put in the queue so this is extremely perplexing and looks like it's happening to a lot of people and some manage to get a work around working while others are still unable to play AND there's no news about what's going on at all.

Same - got kicked out of instance server doing Coil, and can't get back on Primal data center (Error 2002). I've tried switching data centers - didn't work. So much for Raid night.

Yep I just tried the lil server switch trick. No luck. I can log in on a JP server and make a char if I want tho... <_<

(I'm on Hyperion, Primal)

I can log onto every data center cept Aether....which is my main data center XD what is going on here...

Wow... It won't let me connect to Primal or Aether. Everything else I'm good. This makes sooo much sense lol

I keep getting the 90k error on my main character on the Aether-Goblin server, yet I can make a new character on the same server with no connection issues. This is quite odd for me. I've never experienced this before and I can't even change data centers.

Well one thing is for certain...the servers are definitely having issues of some kind and it seems to be hitting everybody in different ways. Square is bound to take notice soon since its hitting so many people.

Cerberus here happened around 12:30 am getting code 2002 with the lobby server connection has encountered an error.... happened while doing Ultima HM have not been able to log in since =(

Im getting the 2002 error on the Ps3 its only effecting the Primal server got the error after i got kicked out for no reason and i tried fixing my connection._. any help or insight on this please and ty.

I get error 2002 can't access Primal Aether or Chaos. I've yet to try the others. It's been over an hour. It's funny this is the first time for this to happen and today was the day my account was charged for subscription. Ok as I'm typing this I was able to access Gaia. Maybe it's all because of the Holiday.

The fact its now the 4th of July had crossed my mind as a possible culprit....since more people could be logging in. But its late (2 am here) so I cant imagine that enough people would log in to mess up the servers to this extent this early on. Although I could be wrong entirely...we can't really be sure until Square fixes it.

It is annoying because my friends are on and I'm not. I could create a new character on the other servers but I just want to play with friends. I'd understand 15 minutes or so but this is hours.

I am able to go into all the Japanese servers just cant go on any NA or EU ones =/

I posted about this in another thread but figured id do it here too. I can connect to the Primal data center only, all of the other ones dont work, including my main one, Aether! D: I guess we have to just wait and see.

Maybe its because the new 2.3 update they are gunna do?

I know got time off work and i am trying to finish up main story and lvl my paladin to 50 so i can go for my best shield and sword._.

IT LIVES TwT resetted my motem and fixed the wires and now im baack up and running^^
