I refuse to believe the issue with Healer gear drops is "just RNG", Square.

RNG is RNG.
It seems all my laters Coil run are double healer drops Oo

OP. Do you really read as much as you do?

DPS and Tanks nag the same way of only seeing a type of gear they don't need on ALOT of runs after each other.

5 full CT runs, No DRG drop no MNK drop no Tank drop. Only Caster and healer stuff and every time the bard hat.
10 full brayflox nm runs 7 runs ONLY battlemage, 1 run battlemage +1 tank item, 1 run battlemage +1 dps item.
I hate brayflox now.

perhaps the loots are based on dps , and so first top dps in the raid have more chance to loot because there were great, and the worst dps have more chance to loot in order to do better next time =p , so the worst dps areeee alwaysss ... healers :D

I actually start to wonder if Lalafell actually hook all the loot.
At least in my group, we have 4 lalafell, 8 coil weapons so far and ONLY the lalafell got weapons and even weapon drops for their second class while the others got jack.
I know it's just coincidence but hell it doesn't feel like it anymore and I feel like giving it a try and switch to lala just for the drop. >_>;

The only thing I've seen less than the Crimson Robes in CT (3 times, ever) is the sword mat for the housing gate. :/ I've seen enough complete sets of healer's stuff drop to outfit me and my retainers a few times over (if I could).

In the last 5 weeks on t6 we've gotten the tank head 5 times and the caster ring 4 times. All of our t7-8 drops have been doubles ( useless to mains ) in the same time period. Really depressing and demoralizing for our entire group. Almost to the point Im considering leaving the game. I just keeping asking myself why do I week after week do this with next to no rewards to show for it. I also personally had extreme crap luck in 1-5 with drops. The current loot system for coil just utterly blows.

Imo they should ATLEAST allow you to turn in useless gear for oils/sands.

Haven't seen a healer drop in 2nd coil in 5 weeks. Tank drops on the other hand have been dropping in doubles every week so far.

Cry me a river, my coil group has 3 healer bodies and 0 caster, tank or mnk.

That's RNG for you. Even when I miss a gathering node at 99% success rate four times in a row, as incredibly improbable as it is, it is possible and it has happened.

Unfortunately for us, most of what we see drop is healer gear on our runs and most of our DPS are very behind.

i'm with the OP just last night was my first time seeing heal gear drop from 2nd coil in 6 weeks. too much tank, bard, and caster crap drops. welp that's my rng anyway

I've been clearing Second coil turns 1 and 2 (6 and 7 if you may) for about 10 weeks now and I've never seen Dragoon gloves and boots. Been clearing turn 3 or 8, for about 8 weeks? And I've already gotten all my dragoon gear from it. RNG doesn't think your special because you're a healer, RNG hates everyone.

I can't tell you how many turn 4 runs I've done just to get the look of the healer robe. I've never seen it drop once.
RNG is RNG and RNG SUCKS :(

Lol I haven't seen the BRD boots, helmet, gloves or DRG boots drop from SCOB for nearly the past 2 months now. All I have been seeing is BRD belt, tank stuff, and caster stuff for so long T_T. Game hates me haha.

10 tank boots from Turn 6. That is all.

I don't really see this as an issue. It really is all up to rng. 37% of our gear in second coil has been healer. I'm only missing 4 pieces to be in full HA gear and that's with two healers in the group, the other healer is evenly decked out. We've only been running second coil for 2 months and our bards each have 2 pieces only. Terrible RNG :(

First time I cleared t6, two of the whm drops, one per chest, now awaiting the earrings, but they have not dropped. Its just rng :/ meh... it sucks. But what can we do :/
