And?
We have already enough content with exp rewards outside of quests.
A class level up already fast enough

And? Those classes/jobs will come with their own unique stories from whatever guild they come from. Wasting resources on adding anything more than that would be pointless as people leveling alt classes will see the new lowbie content maybe 2-3 times while leveling then completely forget about it. Its pointless. Like it or not, end game is the heart of MMO's. There is no point in adding even more content to lowbie areas when its already got more than enough content to level 1-50. Its a waste of time.
It's not hard. MY first 50 only took a week. After that you get the 50% xp bonus and between fates/dungeon dailies/hunting logs etc... I can see 1-50 on a second job in 3 days easily. I took my pug/mnk to 30 on a Saturday just to see if I liked it.
If we dont get something else to do besides Tam-Tara I'm going to puke
new pre 50 content is coming with 2.3
Chocobo Raising
Required Level: Level 30
100% agreed.
A low level version of Ramuh and leviathan would be excellent!
Let's see...
Ifrit = 20
Titan = 34
Garuda = 44
We could change that to
Ifrit = 20
Ramuh = 28
Titan = 34
Leviathan = 40
Garuda = 44
Gives a nice balance for leveling up/Primals fought. Though, it could potentially cheapen the experience of facing a Primal for newer players...
(The Ramuh/Leviathan story modes would be optional quests)
New dungeons would be great.
I loved the first 3 dungeons when I first started playing at launch. But, some of my friends hated them. It'd be nice to have a larger selection to choose from.
That being said, though. I never had an issue with my new player experience. I loved every second of it.
Maybe a Leviathan easy mode for low level after Leviathan normal/hard(?) mode got unlocked with a level 50 class.
First the normal Leviathan from the mainstory, then an easier Leviathan for the alts.
This way the mainstory don't need to get rewrite.
As far as a lower-level version of Levi/Ramuh(/Mog?) is concerned... To my understanding, parts of 1.xx story took place within the Echo, without the player or PC being fully aware that it was. Maybe the low-level fights could be something along the same lines, flashing back to previous battles with the Primals before the onset of the Calamity?
Instead of implementing content just to keep players busy, they should create content where players learn how to play their class.
It's shocking to see players who don't know their own skills trying to do hardmode dungeons.
I don't mean players who run a dungeon for the first time, I'm talking about tanks who don't know about Provoke, healers who don't know about Shroud of Saints or how to control their pet, melee DDs who don't care about positioning or bards who never play a song.
I know there are the class quests, but I've even met players who never did them.
Also, these quests don't test if a player is cappable of playing his/her class, or if a player knows the abilities of his/her class.
After the last class quest, where you get the soulstone and the last skill, there should be a test where players have to use all the skills of the current class.
There should be a minimum ilvl requirement for that, so players have to fill all equipment slots to be able to start the quest, and players shouldn't be allowed to join lvl50 dungeons with the selected class, if they didn't finish its quest.
TLDR?
I like the idea, but the quests/dungeons/whatever should teach players how to use their class.
They shouldn't start to learn when they are lvl50, they should know how to play when they reach lvl50. What else is leveling good for if not to gain "experience"?
this is what i like a lot of tanks and dos who don't know what to do in breyflox hard mode then rage at me who is the healer (or other dos) for not being good when they try to full pull and don't use hollowed ground sentinel and expected me to heal him faster then the damage he's taking, or a tank who only face pulls in the lost city of amdapor who don't know how to use there jobs and those dungeons are considered "expert dungeons"
sometimes people need experience but the only dungeon some do for experience is dezameal dark hold since most hate aruam vale, a few more dungeons could give those tanks dps or healers valuable experience for post 50 healing
I had an idea I thought of earlier. A lower level dungeon they could add is Pharos Sirius Easy Mode. It would be another dungeon for someone with a 2nd job since they would have to be pretty high level to get access to its entrance.
