^^ This right here. I have the daystar boots, robe and circlet for scholar but i glamoured them with darklight boots, argute gown, and battlemage hat

This. Unless you are examining them you have no idea what they are wearing. My drg is in full soldiery gear but I have almost every piece but the gloves glamoured in lower level gear.

I have head, belt, gloves and boots but it's all glamoured. They're hideous.

I like to gear up with High Allaghan being the best gear in the game. However, upgraded solidery gear can get even better than High Allaghan Gear.

For example, I created a new character which I'm bringing through Story right now and when it's level 50, I will gear up in iLvl 70 Gear, proceed to do Relic Quest, then I will go through CT1>Coils 1>CT2>Coils 2.

Aside from ACC, I don't see the argument.

I'm more interested in myth at the moment. Soldiery is an afterthought.

I cap my soldiery every week, and my bard is up to ilvl 99... the problem then becomes that I'm grinding out myth tomes for alexandrite and it is insanely mind-numbing. I have 4 other jobs that are ilvl 90-ish that I also enjoy playing, and I like to mix things up between them rather than playing bard, bard, and nothing but bard. They're well geared jobs, they just don't have any soldiery gear yet because I was using my soldiery tomes to gear up my main, bard. I'm sure other people do this to avoid monotony as well.

What's the point? 2.3 is going to throw gear at you without having to put forth the effort it takes to actually earn raid gear.

And nothing outside of raids warrents anything above ilvl 90. You can do 5 min myth runs /11 min brayflox runs in ilvl 90 gear from 2.0
