This was another thing I was discussing with someone earlier. All SE is doing is disappointing their players and personally I'm about to just leave, and I know people who already have. They aren't getting money from people leaving, and they need to focus their priorities on making them stay as opposed to adding pretty new colors and trying to add reasons to make PVP popular and useful.

Oh please RIOT i wanna see all of you guys whining at SE HQ, I want to see you all on the news. I will laugh so much, but yeat "musketeer or riot" are just empty words b/c no one will really do anything.

Just to be clear, I personally am not saying I will leave. I am thoroughly enjoying the game at this point and am looking forward to the next part of CT and especially monster hunts. It's just getting frustrating when they do something like this over and over again.

Agreed... I'm at the point I have everything to 50, I want my Musketeer. Anyway I pay every 6 months so I have 5 more months until my subscription expires. Not gonna waste that money, so I'm here until then at the least.

But on a more serious note, I'm not bashing everything they are doing at the moment. I think ninja looks like an interesting class and I would like them to make pvp a more interesting prospect. But honestly nearly 4 years of dangling a gun in front of us is just mean considering they are using resources to make a catalog for glamours and furniture as I said previously.

These threads are only so the participants can boost their ego and make them feel like they're making a difference. MSK, like the fantasia before it, has already been confirmed for release. But if the posters can help themselves feel like their voice is heard (english forums lol)..... more power to them.

A reply like this is just to boost the posters ego and adds nothing to the conversation. Probably didn't read the whole thread otherwise you would have noticed a discussion going on. Something that generally happens on a forum from time to time.

Two and a bit of those years were spent rebuilding the game from scratch, to which they introduced ACN/SCH/SMN.
Then focused almost entireley on getting new content out as fast as possible.

Now Rouge/Ninja are next which were /just/ as high as Musketeer on the list.

It doesn't matter how long you waited, you don't need to say "RIOT" because they had priorities on their design elsewhere.

Then we get nothing but it's not ready but here is a bunch of Rogue/Ninja stuff that we have, even though we decided to put it into the game less than a year ago.

Thus people get (rightfully) upset. As I posted earlier, bullet'ed and everything, we have been teased with this class for many years now that it's coming. For many 'wait for E3' and then getting nothing but 'it's not done' was kinda the last straw.

True, but also people who wanted theif/ninja haven't:

• Been waiting 4 years
• Already had an established guild in the game since alpha of 1.0
• Told it was going to be one of the first classes out along with Arcanist back in Aug/Sep of 2010
• Have to wait though the remake of the game only too
• ....
• Come back and see the the guild is still in the game
• Ask SE to please tell us if it was still coming
• Be promised it many times by the first and current producer that it was coming
• then be told 'dagger and gunner classes coming sooner than you think look forward to E3'
• just to be told 'its not ready we aren't going to tell you anything'
• ...
• and thus begins waiting even more going into (almost) the 5th year.

No,theif/ninja people got:

• 'Oh you want a dagger class, ok here'

• In less than a year.

so yes, people HAVE been waiting for it, and rather than add yet another ranged dps (that yoshi said played like a mage HINT HINT) they added something new.

yes, the guild was in the game in 1.0, but that was also under a completely different team, and rather than remake the zone so it wasnt there they just reused the assets im assuming.

apparently they should have just taken it out completely, as people have taken it being there as a giant middle finger.

It is perfectly fine that you have been waiting for it, I know a few who have. But it also hasn't been rubbed in the thief/ninja's face for 4 years that its coming so hurry up and wait. We have been promised over and over and over and over... they only said anything about a dagger thief class coming within the last year and have already got it for the theif/ninja people.

If it was reversed and it was a thief/Ninja guild sitting there for four years with promises over and over and over and then gunner was announced and brought out in 1/4th of the time the people who want theif/ninja would be mad too.

Nope, I meant exactly what I said, thanks for bumping it! The more it stays up top the more it will get attention for us MSK lovers, and SE might actually give us info etc sooner. I just find it sad that people are coming into this thread to pick on players who have a legitimate reason to be upset because we have been waiting 4 years for a class we have been promised many times over, and telling us that we are just whiners, complainers etc. Yet other people are doing things like this on silly little things like dye colors and hair styles.

I'm sorry that you don't agree with us asking SE for something we have been promised, or don't like the way it is being done, but I'm not going to feel bad for defending my opinion or asking for information promised for 4 years. But once again, I thank you none the less for your opinion. :)

Bard is just a joke, we only ever use the harp and play music for a couple of songs, half of them rarely being used. We need a pure musical class/job! > : (

Even when they do bring the class out, people are probably not going to be using it level 30+, and will be using the Job upgrades for it. My question is has Yoshi given any clues as to what those jobs coming from musketeer might be? Ranger, Corsair, Gunmage (FFX-2 style) ?

You get guns in almost every game so... Meh.

Gods no, I'm just angry and bitter and have a tendency to write my posts in anger. Kai is doing a much better job.

Though brothers/sisters in arms are all of us who have been waiting for this class. Since breaking into the SE offices to (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ would probably get me arrested, instead I unsubbed. I know they won't notice but it makes me feel better.

EDIT: Though I've still got 5 months on my sub, so... Entirely pointless I guess. I just want this stupid class already -__-

I hope by making this kind of Riot Thread you get the after burn effect. What if SE already have plan to have Musketeer in the game at a later patch or expansion? If they released Musketeer, people thing if they do Riot Thread they get everything. So SE decided to Abandon Musketeer! I hope you guys know what you are doing. Don't play with fire, it get hot at first but you get burn later.

If it was January I would defend square-enix by saying, well 2.3 needs to come out before 2.4 and the PS4 development. Yet seeing as how Golden Saucer wont make it for 2.3 and other delays are happening. Can't defend what happened at E3 so I gotta agree. What is really going on? Who is dropping the ball?

Aww thank you... lol I don't know if I'm doing that good of a job I just really want information, as do you my friend. I would have been happy if he'd just shown concept art, or a mock up of what the AF ideas might be, or some of the guns they have planned. But nothing?

Like I said, I think people got hyped because he said "gunner and dagger coming sooner than you think please look to E3" then there was nothing but 'it's not ready and Rogue/Ninja first cuz PvP' Sorry, not a big fan of PvP...maybe this Frontline will be fun but I don't know. Have to try it.

And I hope others realize, at least from my point of view: I'm not saying I want MSK in the game now, ASAP, do it. All I am saying is please stop teasing us. A name, how it's gonna be used, concept art etc... anything so I can just see that 'yes it truly is coming' would be nice. Because I've been hearing it's coming and looking at that guild for like 4 years... but seeing that there is concept art, AF, guns, actual proof it's being worked on and coming would probably make people feel better than this hurry up and wait cuz it's coming with nothing to see at all. In 4 years all we have seen is the guild and all of the LL CS's involving guns, without even one little hint of how we are gonna look, or use it or what our guns might look like.

I've been playing this game since alpha of 1.0, supported it when it was basically a paid beta and stuck with it. I'm not necessarily going to leave over a little things like this. But on the flip side, I have everything leveled and done, all I have is endgame stuff, and I can only run dungeons over and over so many times before I start getting bored. Knowing Gunner is coming and I'll have something to do, yet having no info, rough time frame of 'we are trying our best to get it out for X.X update' is frustrating. Especially seeing how fast they developed and got out Rogue/Ninja.

Anyway, I'm not trying to come off rude to Yoshi or anyone. I know they are bringing it, and I know it's coming, but after 4 years I feel people are like 'proof or no go, because you've been saying this for years'

lol and I'm not trying to speak for everyone... mostly I'm talking about myself and some of my friends who have been playing with me since Alpha or 1.0, so let me know if I am wrong. XD
