Can confirm. It's a little hard to see in your picture, but you're not standing on the very tippy edge of that blue tent in the background. You're standing on the little branch that has that light attached to it. Just got it here at ~3am or so, Clear weather. /lookout

012 I got at 11am (party member got it earlier, 10am or so) Fair weather, /Pray. X17-Y18 inside the antechamber room thing in front of the temple.

004 didn't work before 4:02 pm, was /lookout

006 worked at 8:29pm, fair weather, /lookout

For 011 climb on a stump then /sit. Was day, weather fair or clear. It changed around the time when I did this, so not sure which one.

Edit: seems like clear weather did not work for other people, so it must be fair.

#11 Stand on stump and sit after 12pm, fair weather.

#003 is /Pray emote. Got it at ~5am, Rainy weather outside at X20-Y19 in the cave.

003 is /pray. I got mine at 5:13am ET with rain weather

Cause TS/OP hasn't updated it yet >.>

You have to stand/move on top of the stump (the vista), and then when you're in the vista, /sit.

They have updated and added /lookout. You have to stand on the stump, otherwise /sit will not work too.


Anyway, correct location for 001 is 9, 7.

Number 3 requirement is both rain and time of day.

At about 4 AM raining it didn't work, but about 6 AM it did.

Taking a break for a while, probably the rest of the day. 5 hours of doing this/running around/waiting is draining D:

Ah, I'd misunderstood. I'd been trying to /sit on the stump from next to it and doing /lookout with no success. Updated and will go get that one myself as soon as I get out of this bloody tree in Little Solace!

002 works right after 6 pm too.

Behind Sylphic Vendor X22-Y26, jump on crate then towards round light on the branch
ahead. Time: after midnight, weather: clear, /lookout

#5, 9AM, Overcast, /lookout, the spot is very tiny on top of a fence (right side of the gate, as if you were going to zone out)

#015 isn't giving it to me at midday, tried in clear weather.

For #15 I think weather does indeed matter. Standing on the correct lamp post Its after 12pm and I got nothing used the /lookout emote as well.

Can you explain how to find a lamp? I did not manage >.<

how do you complete 80 to obtain the minion if there are only 20 avail. ?

I'm guessing after 20, the other 60 will unlock. Should find out soon, now that the first 20 are all known.

016: 10pm-6am tried all emotes every hour in clear weather, nothing worked.

confirming this as well: 9pm-6:02am nothing worked in clear sky.

#8 /lookout between 6 and 8am did not work with clear sky.

#1, Daytime, Fair, /lookout (9-11AM)

It didn't work for me at first, I had to jump when I was on it to make sure it said i was standing on the vista. Just dropping down from the ledge may not bring that message up. Other than that it was after 12 and overcast

#16: After 10 PM in Fair Weather! Worked instantly!

#008: Clear weather from 6am to 7am. Spammed every emote. None worked.

#003: Rainy weather daytime. Tried /kneel and /pray. Didn't work. Probably have to go at night.


These are infuriating sometimes by the way. I hit five of them since I logged in, and not a single one procced. I'm stuck at 7.

Does anyone know yet if completing all 20 unlocks the other 60 for the achievement that requires 80 total?

#008 tried all emotes at dawn with overcast weather and nothing

I would so love for someone to point out "how the heck do you even get the first one" kind of thing. Got to the Apkula Falls part of the quest and I get the "poetry kind of clues" see everyone get on that lamp-post, I go there at night, clear skies and lookout but nada, absolutely nothing while peeps next to me yell "woot got update" and they jump off and go on their merry way. So it is not that I am at wrong place wrong time and wrong weather!!! I can't even open the Sightseeing journal at all, says "not yet available". So please can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or at least tell me how I initiate the log to get the Sightseeing Journal to open? So I decided to try the one at Leather-workers Guild in Gridania, same thing, others all get updates but not me. Asking in chat gets no replies at all and even /tell to one person who was all exited to get update got no reply, so I am asking here.

Thanks in advance but this is frustrating as heck.

The unlock part is the arch just beside the conjurers guild. Click the quest entry and itll show a red circle on the map (ruining the point of the poem actually).
