Beyond a point, DF is pretty much useless, and that needs to be fixed

Go back and read my suggestions. None of them judge player ability, all of them are intended to help players learn the encounters with the eventual goal of completion. That's the purpose of the tool. Well, unless you believe a few of the other people talking here, who seem to think the purpose is to queue and then quickly leave, then pitch a temper tantrum when someone suggests that it should be used otherwise. Not sure what they get out of doing that, but hey, their $15/month I guess.

Except, I DID read them all. And I still said what I said.

1st: Many people are all for echo, but once you start to take their loot away from them, they don't like it. Basically they would leave if the group cannot down the content soon enough to prevent the lesser loot.

2nd: As you said, there's no way to know how much any of them took away from a given fight, based on how many times they did it. But what you don't realize is that this idea would DESTROY queue times even more than they are now. You wait 40 minutes now? Be happy waiting well over an hour or more then.

3rd: Many people are against statics due to whatever reason, be it schedules or something else, so this wouldn't help either.

I am so glad I do not play on NA/EU servers. Sounds like the DF is as good as useless. The effectiveness of the two different community mindsets are clear as night and day. NA/EU constantly complaining about fail DF parties. Yet there has already been something done in JP DF that many NA/EU players deemed impossible, clear t5 with DF.

There's nothing you can do about it really, the community isn't suddenly gonna change their mindset around. JP servers are superior in terms of clearing content with DF.

CT is good to bring up... how often do people screw it up nowadays?

As to a solution for end game duty finder, there might be something to be found in CT. Then again, maybe it's the number of people involved. People can learn on CT without blowing the event entirely. Maybe that's what isn't working for duty finder 4 mans and 8 mans... ok just the 8 mans. The only 4 man end game content that new people occasionally have trouble with seems to be the doors on Ampador and the first boss in Copperbell HM.

Everyone coordinates before those now though, just like CT. So I guess the question is, why are people so willing to communicate on CT, but drop out of Coil and HM/EX Primals at the first sign of trouble? What makes CT different?
