Pantsu shots erryday.
I have this weird dyslexia. When in CT as tank and asked if I want to tank Atomos or take the adds. I always say I'll take the adds.
What I meant to say was that I'll take Atomos... but for some reason my brain thinks Atomos is the add and all the creatures that pop up are the boss.
I am shamed to say this has happened 3-4 times and has caused a few alliance wipes.
Whenever I duty roulette and run into people who try to act "cute" for commendation votes (usually female characters), I make it my mission to manipulate the rest of the group into hating them.
I actually feels great, not shameful. but...
I dyed my subligar with salmon color and pose my back at every chick players I met. The I face front and give em my beardly smile. (too bad I can't dye the coliseum ones...) lol
And I proudly promote our highlandish (/mandervilledance) XD
I once tanked the T2 nodes (til ADS, when I found my error) with no Oath on...and no one else realized it (even the heals)
I've caused so many wipes by forgetting defiance that now I always triple-check the icon is there nervously.
Shameful... hmm... Level 45-50
Started the game as WHM (i deny the existence of such a thing as a conjurer). At lvl 45 i went and quested my first 4 pieces of AF, and when i put them on (was wearing a bliaud on body), i realized...
O.O ... Theese are just under-panties i'm wearing!
And you Sir are the reason i felt ashamed...
j/k ... maybe
If the tanks acts like hot stuff and starts calling out all the shots i'll gladly pull mobs ahead of him and coordinate it with the 2 other dps and make it so that the tank is useless and just another "low hitting dps" lol!
They get mad and start putting up a fuss / afking then that's when we all decide to kick him and replace.
But usually one of the only shameful confessions i think that is pretty up there is a whm (me) wearing full right side tank accessories at most times.
I one time ran off the edge of the platform while perfectly dodging bombs/landslide while fighting Titan HM. My fc was all, wtf?
*grumbles about auto-run glitch*
I always give Comms to the Dragoon, because it's my favorite job... They are just so cool.
Trying to tank Ultima HM as PLD and forgot to put Shield Oath on.
Later did this again in T1 and T4.
OPS...
I joined a dungeon wearing my bikini as a joke (this was before glamouring), thinking I would quickly switch back into my real gear, not realizing that I didn't have my job crystal equipped and the game wouldn't let me switch from PGL to MNK, so I had to try to do the whole dungeon as PGL. Whoops.
Also I've been playing this game since the first open beta on PS3 but it took me until April of this year to level a class to 50. I had a behemoth loyalty mount before I had a level 50 class.
I hit the wrong macro and elusive jumped right off the platform during a titan hm.
Trying to avoid plumes on Titan EX by bouncing around but jumped off the edge instead.
I won't commend notlalas. If you couldn't even pass the first challenge of the game successfully, then i'm 100% sure you weren't competent enough to contribute to the clearing of a duty.
I sneaked into T5 farm party to get my clear. 1/1.
I need in brayflox when going to turn in for GC seals.
i always say that i'm a new player when leveling my alt classes in duty roulette so that people don't expect too much from me
especially as tank .. even when it's a dungeon i've done multiple times ;;;
i always try to do my best, but with tanking, i feel it's never enough :(
I cleared Leviathan EX for farming when I realized I didn't have hotbar two set on PS4. So missed out on a lot of important abilities...
I gratuitously use emotes when texting with friends & posting on the internet...
And I'm a male
I sometimes pretend I can't speak English if I'm playing with the Japanese client. I don't know why. It's just funny. I've had people use Google translate to explain tactics to me, and I'm sat there like, bless you, going to all that trouble for me. Still carry on like I can't understand a thing. :] I usually do it when I mess up as well, hahaha. Really no idea why.
My paladin is +50 STR.
I once had someone in ul'dah begging me for Gil, I told them I keep it on my retainer in mor dhona, and if they could meet me there I would give them some (they were level 9 max) gave them directions on how to get there (using the deadliest route, even sent them via camp tranquil for some reason I never remember, they must of died so many times, because I eventually they sent a message saying "thanks but I think will just quest now I keep dying " felt so bad so made them full level appropriate HQ gear, they seemed happy but still....
I haven't done anything in game for about a month. I have no idea why I can still post here.
I'm guilty of not healing DPS that can't focus the right mob and steal aggro from the tank
The first time I saw the term RNG, I was like they are talking in the wrong forums...We don't have Rangers in this game..... Imma idiot.
As a tank, I mark mobs and before I pull if I'm not doing a speed run. If there is a dps that insists on rushing me, or randomly attacks the ob before I pull, I /sit and wait until he/she dies, then grab hate.
Same thing goes for not following markings. If an enemy marked as one is still at 75% and a random DPS (DRG, I'm looking at you =P) is attacking the target marked four, I'll let them get hate and will not get it back.
The first time I completed stone vigil I was a marauder without provoke....
... Is that... Over-sharing?
I sometimes buff over another whms buff on purpose...
I ran CT with my pants unequipped.
back before Chimera and Hydra were added to DF, I had joined a Hydra run via PF for my relic and the party was AWESOME. Hydra dropped so fast, and pty was staying together do down primals next. I was all game for staying with these guys, but wuh-oh......forgot to equip my unfinished relic for Hydra....so kill didn't count. -_-
To be honest, I used to be rather rude and insensitive to other players in DF when I played with them in dungeons. Like getting annoyed if players didn't do stuff correctly, and instead of straight up telling them what to do, or help them, I just got angry at them. I don't always think what I say through to the end, and it's gotten to me on more than one occasion. Less now than before, because I want to be aware of what I'm saying to other people around me.
Contributing to lighten the mood? That's the way I want to roll instead of the crap I used to pull. Period.
