I really have problem as a whm in level 30 vs a scholar. I try to sleep the Eos but I don't want to waste quickcast on repose in level 30 cause without quickcast I can't use one single spell in the entire fight. Unless ofc if I use pvp spells but the other scholar can do the same. So say I don't manage to sleep eos and we both pop our noninterrupt spell and that veil that makes us take 40% less damage. When their gone the scholar still have the eos healing everyone and I have quick cast for one single heal and then I'll have to try and stay alive the rest of the fight without healing myself or anyone. Unless I run past a corner and use presence of mind.
Without regen it's really hard

WHM is gimped in 30's, no doubt about it. Yeah, you have esuna and they have no leech. But they have fairy heals and Adloquium... that barrier allows scholar to get off multiple casts, ontop of their cooldowns. WHM? you pretty much have to blow your swiftcast/surecast on self heals because of no regen. Once equanmity is gone and swift/surecast is over, you're pretty much done. But scholar lives fine with just fairy heals and Adloquium. Oh and the massive difference fairy makes with attunemnt, but again.. no regen on whm in 30's.. so if you pop attument you are still quite likely to die, rather than getting full healed. Stoneskin too. Scholars can cross it but whm's don't unlock it to 34.

That's a silly strategy. Your job is to keep yourself and your party alive. Leave the attacking of the other healer to your Tank/DPS. If they can't kill the other healer, then they suck and it's not your problem.
If you're going to sleep someone, sleep the first Tank/DPS that is making a beeline towards you. This way, I'm sure you can defend yourself against 1Tank+1DPS or 2DPS.

I think you're overrating Stoneskin, all it does give an initial health boost. Once enough damage has been given, they're gone. Only stupid scholars would have them at lvl30.
And don't talk as if scholar's spells can't be interrupted. Scholars have to burn swiftcast/surecast in order to have a successful heals too.

Smart Scholars will have it in 30 caps, chain SS with a few adloquium cast on your party right before gates drop and they can charge in. Not to mention sch pet gets the aoe heal (pretty much a minor regen) for 20-30 sec u can throw up also before they rush.

Scholar can literally sit there and spam adolquium w/o swiftcast also, long as u keep restacking the shield before it drops it will cast. Only time I ever really need swift is for raise or pet resummons (when groups get tired of trying to kill me and try to go for pet instead.)

This is for 30 cap, 40 cap theres enough dps being thrown out to pressure and drop the shield fast enough, and 50 cap is all about Lustrate and kiting.

It's only a minor advantage, true, but it's one of many that add up. 30's is all about zerging heals, as such the initial burst is the most dangerous. That SS ontop of adlo gives you so much more survivability than a whm vs said burst, and once passed, it's a cakewalk for scholar. And no they don't have to burn swift/sure to cast. That adlo shield allows casting while it's up and it can be hard to break in 30's where the dps is quite low.

Purify. Eos/selene have no purify. Scholar has no leech in 30's.

Your job is to support your party. That includes CC. Taking out eos with swiftcast sleep severely nerfs your opposition scholar for a good 30 seconds, more than enough time to burst them down. And attunement will hardly save them if eos is asleep and can't heal. It's can be very costly to lose that swiftcast though.

I will have to waste a quick cast to sleep the first person attacking me, and that person is just gonna use purify anyways. Now since everyone has it it's even worse to waste quickcast+repose on other than Eos. Since the scholar don't have leches at level 30 they can't do anything about eos except resummoning with quickcast.

Ppl don't understand how stoneskin works in pvp ^^
It will:
-Block incoming damage till it gives out
-will allow you to cast spells without interruptions** with the minor exception of stuns and knockbacks**.
A pro tip is to keep reapplying stomeskin on yourself with PoM. You can add sacred prism if your hp isn't above average healer hp.
Once you apply it, it'll create a snowball effect of non stop stoneskin.
I can have a drgn and tank bash on me till my mp runs out but it usually won't even get close to that as my team will pick them off of me while i keep SSing myself.

Don't waste it lol, have your tank CC the enemy healer so they will be forced to use purify. Once they used purify, use swiftcast sleep on the healer and marked them with a chain.
Proceed to burn dps or if you feel on the ball; go straight for the tank.
