Can we get female outfits that are a little sexier?

Have you seen the male undies?! They look like something your grandma might have in her closet. Besides the men in this game are practically sexless. They have no junk to speak of and it looks like somebody shaved off my nipples. (!?)

It's another thing to be politically correct but to cut some part of anatomy completely is something I find absurd.

I just want you to have a reality check here. It's not like I'm even asking decent underwear just normal anatomy and normal underwear.

There's only one thing I want to see in gear design for female characters: Zettai Ryouki (Absolute Territory). The white stocking shenanigans with the bottoms line of gear? That doesn't really count. I want black stockings!

I must sound like I've had my head under a rock for the last 15 years but I have actually been thinking that some of the Miqote outfits I've seen are Very sexy indeed!
I'm always down with a little more revealing but I think it's pretty darn good the way it is :)

To be honest, there is already enough men miquote running around naked in those stupid boy shorts as it is. Have these people no shame!?

I remember in FFXI, I was always afraid to leave my mog house to run to the AH naked. I was worried people would see me and think i'm some sl*t trying to get attention!

of the many mmo i've played I would say that Aion had my fav style. Kinda goth lolita esk. I personally like victorian era outfits. Lil off topic I've recent had the Itch to re try Aion I mis having black wing on my character and flying around or even dcuo. Where I had demonic wings and just flew around. I like flying and do miss it :)

(i woulda been a studied to fly plains if I met the hight requirement. )

Can we get codpieces and BDSM outfits for males.

i guess it will come soon. a high cut evening dress isnt too much. swimwear, yukata/kimono, and all other jpn holiday gear will be in the game soon. it happened in 11 so why it wont be in 14 ?. let them fix up the game first before the fan service gets put in

Feminine wear, dresses, more vibrant colors, kimono, "pretty" things would all be appreciated. But nothing I would be embarrassed playing in front of my grandmother.

While I can do without some of the styles being mentioned here, I would like to see more variety overall. One of my favorite things about Aion is all the different outfits available just for social stuff. My linkshell has had several social events, but there's nothing in the game right now that's really formal (coatees don't count for obvious reasons).

This is a common misconception. While there may be some changes applied on the inside of a cuirass on account of the bust, putting boob-shaped dents in the cuirass actually goes too far, causes the armor to perform worse and deflect attacks toward other vital areas. ( a sword strike to the chest sternum is deflected upwards to the neck, for example)

Edit: Also the lack of any clothing in both purple and orange (though not at the same time >.>) disturbs me. My LS leader likes purple but there's none to speak of and well orange is something I've been known to be partial to from time to time.

I personally want some Corsetry and other Victorian armor and fashion styles to show up. The few armors I loved to death in XI were Sipanhi, Unicorn, Conte, and others JSE's that were good for one or two jobs but looked epic when worn in a set.

Orange and Purple? i played a dragoon in FFXI and sported partial AF2 with assault jerkin and loved every second of it :p

I don't think these ladies from this ffxiv image look "un-sexy" but I'd personally love a more elegant appeal from the clothing. I think Final Fantasy Tactics had great art concept for female and male attire that wasn't too over the top, but had a little sex appeal for both genders.

But I definitely like the beginning feel of the gear now. I know a lot of people are looking towards that black mage armor that Yoshida sort of spoiled, but to be honest, I think it looks a bit over the top. Don't get me wrong, I love black mages and characterization from gear, but I find it hard to imagine people running around in Eorzea wearing that set. It feels a bit...false and unfitting for the world we know it as now. We've never seen any other characters in this game wearing such outlandish gear. Even the Garleans look relatively believable.

My LS was having a similar discussions last night and came to the conclusion that the female armors are far better looking than the male ones.

Some may like it but I think it's retarded and I ain't the only one. If you want that kind of thing just use dats, there's a good compromise that makes everyone happy.

EDIT: I'm not against more femininity, but thongs and whatnot are just stupid. Your characters are supposed to be heroes, not sluts.
