I have had 90k errors a few days ago but it was only for about 30 minutes...but after last nights patch the game is doing it to me constantly. I hope it gets fixed soon, I miss playing already XD;.

Been happening a lot in household too. Still isn't fixed.
Never had issues until last nights maintenance.

I've been having these issues off and on since the latest big patch hit. It's been progressively getting worse, and from what I understand port forwarding doesn't seem to resolve the issue. I -really- want to keep playing this game, because I love it, but when I can't even do a dungeon because I'm afraid the lag will kill my group ( I'm a WHM )... then it's probably time for me to move on. It seems silly to pay for a game I can't even play.
Just chiming in as another Floridian using comcast from Primal data center that has had 90k issues all day.
For me its The third day of getting disconnect's. I understand there might be some issues when you release new patch, but why SE staying quiet when so many players were not be able to play. Do you have any idea whats going wrong? And when its will get better?

Popping in because lag is getting ridic. Play on ps4 now and ps3 before that and didn't have 90k>2002 issues since 2.1 and now I can't even do t5 or a duty roulette without rubber-banding or just flat out being d'cd. From NY and laptop gets perfect speed & connections o I know it's not on my end or ISP. (Since I already confronted them and had a technician come out to check!)
EDIT: Also this has been at its worst after the 2.25 patch and the emergency maint that happened right before it.
I posted in a different thread about this but someone pointed me here. I'm having the same issues and I'm also in Florida. I get horrible lag before it happens. Sometimes everyone around me is frozen and I can hit target but I don't actually do any dps before I get kicked off and get multiple errors. Other times I get the DC icon next to my name and I can see other players still playing but I'm frozen.
I was told it's not to do with the servers we are on, it's to do with the routing we take to get to those servers in Canada. Here is a picture of my trace route and I timed out on multiple parts trying to connect to the FFXIV server. I'm not sure how SE fixes this but something needs to be done.

Slipikin, what is your location/ISP, and how do you run that trace thingie?
Do SE employees actually respond to any of technical issues via posts in these forums?
I have the same issue as the rest of you in this thread, and from what I have seen in other threads there doesn't appear to be any formal responses to issues......at all...regardless of the problem.
Me and my husband were playing this morning and then we were kicked off. Same errors and we play on Excalibur and we both are on the East Coast in Maryland. Hopefully they fix it soon.
Update:Just got in a few minutes ago.
Hopefully we can get a dev or someone to illuminate the problem for us, I'm Australian but play on the NA servers, and for the past two or so hours I've been wading through bad lag spikes and now I've had to clean out my spare room to accommodate all these 2002 lobby errors that have turned up... I really thought the login troubles ended when 1017 was addressed just after relaunch...
No more 90k errors yet for me today. How's everyone else doing who suddenly developed these issues yesterday (rather than a long term thing)?
the cause of the drop outs/90k is cogentco seeing as they have from anywhere 15%-60% packet loss on there hops. the issue isnt with servers but its been with cogentco network which u would see if u use winmtr to tracert to server and leave it on for couple hrs it will show u the packetloss so u can easily see problem. issue only effects na/eu servers because of being routed through the bad path/ bad hop which cogentco has
when cogentco hop gets busy u will exp the issue
mostly put info in ticket but yeah thats what problem been cogentco has had this problem for a while. the only way to actually fix it is either reroute around the bad hop or cogentco has to fix there bad network which is cause of the problem
issue "resolved" but now i'm lagging really badly.
Big suprised another Flordian here and been d/cing like crazy since yesterday cant even stay on longer then 20mins -(

All day yesterday, I was getting 90000, 2002, and 10105, wasn't able to so much as run a single instance without getting kicked from group because of this

"I may have a solution. Wasn't able to log on for the longest time. A FC mate of mine is a programmer with computer knowledge. He recommended teh following and it got me in the game ASAP.
go to command prompt
Type: ipconfig/release
You will get disconnected from your internet.
Type: ipconfig/renew

PS: I find it entertaining to myself that I can zone out and not hear anything while playing the game. But when I'm half way across the house cooking food and talking with friends, I can hear the disconnect ping from my laptop over all the noise.
90K and 90002 mostly during night time, every 5 minutes or so.

Problem: Constant lag spiking and occasional/seldom disconnect errors. So much so the game is borderline unplayable.
Reset my Modem, Release/Renewed my IP Address, ping/speed tested ISP. I have not had an issue with lag since the dungeon problem they had a bit back until now. My internet works fine with all of my other games/browsers/etc.
Seems like a routing problem from the southern/ south east US to the Canada based servers since most of these reports hail from that location or somewhere else geographically distant from the server location.

Problem: Constant and sporadic 90k errors. It can happen at any time of the day, and over a long play session will average out to about once an hour. There is a "character still logged in" error when I relog back in but I guess that is to be expected because SE kicked my client off server, not my character. The 90k error -> logged back in transition only takes about a minute but when I'm the healer for my T8 static, it's not a good situation for them to have to put up with.
There is nothing I can do to fix it, my research shows that this problem existed since 1.0 and SE simply has yet to even acknowledge it's existence, much yet try to fix it.
My 90k's became rare shortly after launch, but since November they get more frequent every week. At this rate it will be unplayable within next month.
Im getting too. Can't stay on more than 15 mins at a time. I didn't have this issue before. im in south Texas.
Getting DCed every so often. Can't even relog to my spot in a dungeon.

Before today I never had the 90k error but this evening I kept getting em at first I could at least still get in the game but after 3 of those errors I cant even get in anymore.
EDIT: could get in after 30 min before getting kicked again by the error after 10 min. fix it since now it's unplayable.
Just renewed my subscription to come back to this, [sigh] oh well guess im not playing a game i just PAYED FOR!!!!
SE Please do something about this...I have been unable to play this game for more then an hour for over a week..due to constant lag spikes and DC's that I never had in all my months playing this game till now. This is an obvious problem...why aren't you at LEAST addressing that there is an issue? Give us a sign that your at least THINKING about a fix please, this has been going on to long.
Still having this problem here, Tryed to play, able to play for 2 mins, got booted 3 times and couldnt log back on for 5-10mins

been having the 90k error for a while now every 10min, making the game near impossible to play. next to the atma farming this game is really working on my nerves right about now.
Everything was good untill last night i logged in did a dungeon and just before last boss i got disconnected, happend again after that so i thought i give it a rest try again tomorrow, and now i cant even log in for more then 2 mins i get 90k error,
