I desperately want it also, I wanna go back to my Lalafell, but it really doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime for a while.

All "Soon" means is that it's coming.... eventually.

Really disappointed it doesn't look like we're getting Fantaisas today. I'd at least appreciate a response that's more than the typical "please look forward to it". Retainers was already in the code from 1.0. Adding something to a website store that causes it to appear in game might be technical enough that they are testing it enough to make sure it doesn't break.

As to how long, well it's normal to not give an idea until it's ready otherwise they might have to delay it and then people will riot over that.

Before 2.1 that was said Fantasia inc in 2.2 ... Before 2.2 they changed their mind. Answer 'soon' makes me sick. We want ETA from you SE.

It's like all kinds of vanity, they get old eventually, why do people irl contantly dye their hair, why do people have breast enlargements, then a few years later reductions, why do people change their hairstyles all the time. People will get tired of their characters eventually so they will want to change.

Or it could just be in a future expansion we have new races people want to use, without having to roll a new character.

1.0 people also go a Fantasisa. I got 2 actually, cause I bought a 1.0 CE.

So Since we still don't have the damn things how do i actually go about getting one restored to me? don't feel like waiting another 6 month for these final details

We want fantasia. Does it impact you in some negative way that people are unable recustomize their characters? Is your view of the world so narrow minded that you're unable to fathom reasons why people may want to change the appearance of their character?

It's a video game. My character is not a representation of my physical self. Is that what you look like? No? We design our characters (usually) to be somewhat aesthetically pleasing to ourselves but with any idea or concept it's free to evolve over time. What some people think looks good today they might dislike tomorrow. Good for you if you're always going to be happy with the way your character looks but if you seriously have a problem with people wanting to redesign their characters from time to time, well... I think you take this game a little too seriously.

I'm not sure what reasons other people have but I am wanting to go back to what my character originally looked like prior to using the free phial they gave us. If rerolling didn't require an insane amount of work, I'd of just done that.

Besides that, why do you care? Changing how my character looks cosmetically does not interfere with your gaming experience. Heck, I'm pretty sure most people won't even notice. It's not as if changing my race will somehow dodge server reputation.

So greedy!

1. Riot in Uldah; ransacking, pillaging, sacking every single one of Syndicate's affiliated business?
2. Riot in Gridania; mass poaching of wildlife and mass illegal logging?
3. Riot in LL; adding Somnus or whatever halucination inducing drugs to every rums or ales distributed to every ex pirates, shady peeps and scurvy seadogs?

You do realize people also messed up their characters with the first Fantasia they received? People changed races and hated how their character moved once they started playing them, or made them too tall or too short (plus there's absolutely no way of seeing things like how they move properly unless you actually roll the character in game.) It's also a pretty basic thing in MMO's to be able to customize your character when you want a change and not be stuck with them.

What's taking so long honestly? You have the framework to sell us additional retainers, the ability for the server to mail stuff to our characters, and the ability to single out a single character for a service. What are we still waiting on other than you enjoy making your players wait?
