I know I'm a terrible tank. I need to find a "How to Tank" thread or something. I have a terrible time keeping hate or using the right skills at the right times.

The video is just to show people how this fight can be done.

If thats "saying you're better than everyone else" then I guess I fail to see why. I think everyone trolling just needs to stay on topic and ask questions about the fight itself.

One of the prominent points of this fight is obviously Endurance :/

I feel that players should know those types of fight aspects in order to get a feel for how Dungeon fights MIGHT be.

Well I never said or implied that I was the best tank in the game all I will say is I am always open to learning and if you have tanked this Mob before "87 Headrip ogre" in the video please post so I can Learn from your greatness since your criticizing my tanking that mean your better, Because I have yet to see anyone tank him and not die yet, I did find 1 video on youtube and they died a horrible death. So Please post your MAGNANIMOUS tanking skill video of you tanking this mob "Tirion Crey" it should be very easy for you to do since I fail at tanking... please post the video asap ^^ Cant wait.

We are Generally Discussing the video where we kill a R87 HEADRIP OGRE

Congratulations, your linkshell has a semi competent tank and a bunch of lancers. That is really all you need to kill any high level mob.

Ahem, did fire resistance play a role with this mob? If so, was a good number for resists?

Again, This will be my only post in this thread because I prefer to avoid controversy, but here goes. We did not do this kill to prove anything to anybody, nor did we do this to start a troll thread like the last one. We got a lot of people getting up to do the mobs from the last video. Many people were happy to go out and try to kill things that they previously had not. That is one reason that we did this. The other reason is that the video of the dungeon shows an ogre and we want to show people the style of fighting that is warranted in order to kill it. Thank you guys for the positive feedback. Those of you with negative feedback please understand this. The people that have not seen this mob will be unable to fight it in the dungeon. I believe that everyone should have an equal chance at fighting it in the dungeon. This video gives people some perspective on the mob. Nobody wants to waste their dungeon timer.

P.S. If it seemed like a flame, that was not the intent. I'm off to class. Have a nice day all.

Actually VERY good question! Yes it did. I will say you need to be 100 or higher in fire :D

The stats in this game require a HIGH amount to remain effective.

The majority of his abilities are fire based yet some are just brute force damage.

Last comment, on something you wrote.

People who havent seen or fought this "Ogre" mob has no bizz, or atleast the end part of it in the dungeon. (if... it even have the same abilities & action as regular ones, wich none of us know as of yet)

There havent been any proven information on that mobs abilities / actions or w/e,
for all we know it might even be a semi boss & not the final one.

gonna call BS. That is EXACTLY why this was posted from Gath. Everyone knows he tries to show off his self believed epeen to anyone and everyone. He's done it 3 consecutive times on here now for very mediocre things. The line "Better than everyone since Sept 22" confirms it.

If you had world/server first December NMs and posted about it we would all care a minimal amount because back then it actually meant something. If you have world/server first Darkhold clear feel free to post that on the forums because it will actually matter in 1.18. Though with the terribad play from your mages/tank I doubt that will ever happen lol

I'm at work, so I can't see the video, but how much in normal attacks should a PUG expect to do here to effectively damage deal targets this high?

Like, there's a parser, what numbers should a Pug be pulling?

A) I can't believe I read all that.

B) I can't believe there's drama over something in a game that has nothing worthy to have drama over yet.
