My wish: An in-game option to choose your MAIN job, which will be displayed in a different color in the FC-member online list when you're on it.
Have the intro when creating a new character be skippable.

I'm a button masher, it's just a habit and more fun so I would REALLY like to see the option to disable the text and sound and appears when using an action that isn't ready, it would honestly complete me ;)
ohhh I have one. I like to sell 60 different items on my 3 retainers to maximize sales and overall fun of crafting and selling. I keep full sets of spares in my retainers inventories to quickly restock them. after I make , say, 13 sales, I have to go find out what I have and do not have in my retainers selling list, so that I can refresh the for sale list. I also have to go through my items to see which have been undercut and need adjustment, or else which items have been undercut so much that I would decide to wait until later to sell that item. If I could just dump all the items into my retainer, click the sort button, it would be so easy to just bring the items from my retainers inventory, to my for sale list.
TLDR: Add option to retainer to dump all currently "for sale" items into inventory or into retainers inventory.
Also add search option which would show results from all retainers., in other words, a general retainer search. 4 retainers =....like 600 items? Please give us a search function.

Market Boards: Please add a Gardening category. When I first needed to look up gardening materials, I could not find seeds or soil, even in the Miscellaneous category. It turns out they are in Outdoor Furnishings. Garden patches may be outdoor furnishings, and it makes sense that they are listed as such, but seeds, soil and fertilizer are not really furnishings themselves.
Please also add a Minions category. It's nice that they are listed first in Miscellaneous, but there are a lot of them and more are surely on the way. While we're at it, may as well add a Companions/Chocobo category. There's sure to be a lot of items for companions and chocobo content after Gold Saucer, chocobo rearing, and other companion options are introduced. Greens and barding can be listed there for a start.
-toggle ability to replace party member names on the field with simple number from list.
-fix cycle targeting to not suck. seriously. instead of this near to far and far to near crap, make it go from screen left to screen right and vice versa, OR radial from center of camera focus.
-make cycle through emnity list an actual select, rather then cycling thorugh the list and then having to confirm. that's just stupid.
-same for cycle through alliance list.
-add option to "auto-split" stack for selling on the MB. For instance, say I had 34 fleece or something, and I wanted to sell in stacks of 10. instead of listing the same thing a bunch of times, I could just list it once and it will automatically split it into 10, 10, 10, and 4 for sale.
-unequipping retainers returns the equipment to your inventory, not your armory.
-ability to change jobs in an instance if entered as a pre-formed party.
Low CD Pots!
Make crafting viable at level 50. Give us the ability to craft gear all the way up to the same iLvl as, say, the previous update's highest level gear. It's ok if that gear is difficult to craft and takes some hard-to-get ingredients; that makes it even more fun. Just don't make it so hard that it's pointless to try. Also, give crafters and gatherers some questing they can do, besides just leves.
Give us more gear variety on the high end, also. As it is, pretty much all PLD have Curtana and Holy Shield, all DRG have Gae Bolg, etc. Sure, Glamouring keeps people from looking all the same, but they're still wearing all the same stuff.

Would really like to see some way to sort gear in your armoury "inventory". Or at least not have things constantly move around when changing gear sets, etc.

As much as it pains me to say it, make it like WoW, you have to admit they did quite a few things right, and their loot system was one of them. If you go in as a full party, the leader/loot master can set the loot to basic need/greed or loot master, if you go in solo, or in a partial group, it is set to need/greed. They already have stated that if you state loot rules before entering a dungeon and someone breaks them, they will investigate and can take the loot and even suspend or ban the offending player, all this would do would save the GM's time from investigating these loot issues. As for drama, that will happen regardless, but not many people will stick with a raid leader that ninjas all the cool shinies for himself, it works itself out in the end usually. I remember one assclown in WoW that got a world first axe drop in AQ40, he was the raid leader, he ninja'd it, then the next day swapped servers with a name change, but it was all over the forums, so when he showed up on a new server with a new name, but the only one that had that axe, no guild would take him.
The main thing that still bugs me to this day is, why isn't the mail send drop down sorted alphabetically? I mean seriously, use a simple Order By clause in the SQL to return the mail recipients list in alphabetical order.

Companion - Option to put away your companion in the party while mounted.
Grand Company - Sancation buff npcs in other locations. Housing NPC, Towns etc.
Grand Company - Sancation buff adjustments. (10% increase in seals, doesn't get removed after death, lasts 2~7hrs depending on rank, increases acc & crit by 2%)
Venture - Auto Venture, Retainer can do the selected single 1hr Venture over and over for exp without bring any items to you. Can set how many times you want your retainer your Venture before coming back. Etc. 99 Venture Coins= 99 hours.
Sound Effects - Turn off Crowd nose. (happens when your in a area or fate with alot of players clustered together)
Loot Pool - Extra Loot Pool where items get dropped to if your bag is full.
Atma - Option to earn Atmas without having Zenith Equipped.
Atma - Option to trade Atmas for other pieces of equipment or materials at Rowena.
Repair - Get Discount on repair NPCs if you meet the craft level requirement to repair it yourself.
Durability Potions - Buffs don't get removed after death.
Free Company Buffs - Time of Day buffs. Set what buffs to be applied at what times of the day. (Crafting & gathering buffs during the day/Dungeon buffs during the night.)
Turn 6 Adjustments - Chain will not link together the players with Yellow & Honey anymore. (Cant break chains while feeding Honey, Player with Yellow earns too much damage while in Briar. If this combination happens in the fight its pretty much death.) Person with Yellow still earns chains just not from the person with Honey. Easier way to fix this is player with Honey has shorter chain to break.
I'd love if we could access our armoire from within the FC house.
I mean there's a piece of furniture called armoir but it doesn't actually do anything.
It's annoying to constantly have to go back to town to "go into an inn room" just to access it.

The way this is done in other games is that it can only be changed when there is 1) no loot in the pool and 2) no enemy engaged, so the party leader can't go around mucking with stuff behind peoples back. Loot rules are generally clearly specified in the party window and changes are logged in the chat log. This way, if some one doesn't agree with the loot rules, their free to leave before engaging in anything.
I would like multiple ways to get tomes. I get that you can get some from maps and daily's, but both of those are limited and dungeons can be repeated many times over until you hate them. Please let me do daily's more than six times a day, you do not have to keep giving me reputation with them, just need more ways to get myth when I do not want to speed run Brayflox. Thank you.
A way to display an item's meld-caps would be AMAZING.
Thanks for reminding us all. Potions are generally crap and aren't worth keeping for this very reason. I can understand anything higher than a hi-potion having a 1 minute or more cooldown, but regular potions and hi-potions? Talk about making these items utterly worthless.

err... the loot rules are just fine, if its your class you can need if not you can greed, if you already have it in your inv you cant do either so have to pass? this just seems like it would be a way to abuse the system and if one pug joins a guild run that guild could screw him out of loot.
I think finding a good DF group is hard, so when you do find a good group, I would like to keep going with them. Do another instance. Give us the ability to enter the queue up again with those people.
in light of another thread on the front page i had a few ideas about the "join in progress" option that would make it a bit more accessible and less tedious. and would stop people from constantly joining and quitting queues until they got the instance they were looking for
-allow us to see the names of players inside of an in-progress instance
-allow us to join "only in-progress" instances
-allow us to join a friend or FC mate inside of in progress instances with open slots

I'm still holding out hope that we'll get cooldown timers for our skills on the Hotbars. The clockswipe is crap and I would much rather have numbers overlayed on the skills.
Reduce the required level to turn in beastman daily quests to 30-35, so we can use the exp instead of letting most of it hit the floor. The things reward less than a Lv35 leve, there's no reason not to let lower-leveled classes collect it. By the same token let general quests be turned in, say ten levels, below the quest level.
They need the arrows to sort for gear sets, similar to the ones in party list.
-Ability to toggle display ONLY equipment in inventory and not armoury when doing expert delivery turn ins. also ability to click and drag turn in a similar fashion to selling stuff would be nice (with confirmation prompt of course as there is no buyback).
-right click => return to inventory gear (player inventory not retainer inventory) gear equipped to retainer (and to inventory, not armory. I don't need my retainers low level stuff clogging up 11 different tabs on my armory that I have to individually sort through and remove).
-right click => discard equipment on retainer
-ability to save housing furniture layouts. unused furniture goes to company chest, and pulls necessary furniture from chest as well.
-FOOD ITEMS for furniture. talking cornicopias, glasses, wine, platters, meals, etc. alot of the models are in the game, I've seen them around. Some food furniture would really liven up the place.
-ability to place some furniture inside OR outside. some of these furnitures really do work well inside or out. And there are some that just don't make sense why they aren't able to (astroscope anyone?)
1. Naming tabs in company chest for better organizing.
2. Being able to dump items into company chest without so many pop up approvals.
3. Being able to report players for spam, the gold sellers are rather tenacious!
4. Being able to look at Free company while in a Duty.
5. Instead of giving FULL ACCESS or NO ACCESS to the company chest, have a system like WoW Where you grant people the access to tabs and the amount the can withdraw from the tabs.
6. In questing it would be nice to place the general location in the quest text! (Instead of saying, go talk to Sally.) (It should say go talk to Sally, in North Thanalan.) It's sometimes hard to find people.
Free Company Communication & Management:
1. Create a simple in-game interface to allow players to read and post to the Lodestone FC forum.
2. Add permission settings to allow Free Company master and officer ranks to have the ability to manage the forum - including whether members can post or not (by rank).
3. Add a setting to make the forum publicly viewable or private.
4. Add a Company Rules tab to the FC Information screen so that Company master and officers can post the Free Company rules.
5. Add permissions to the Company rules page to allow/deny editing of the rules.
6. Add permissions to the Company rules page to allow public or private (FC members only) visibility of company rules.
7. Allow Company masters to message all company members via Moogle mail.
Install a parser on the test dummies. This allows people to test out rotations, and promotes them to think about their dps. This is different to just throwing in a parser that could be used anywhere. Ik people worry about "harassment" in dungeons, but at least the way I mentioned it's nothing but positive.
