problem = not GIL
Storage = too many gils and cant spend on them because not enough storage..
:C i want those juicy items looking.. but SE is being stingy on the storage.... .
Im sitting on about 8.2 mil my self but i truly have nothing to buy so i just farm shards and crystals and sell them plus i dont fail leves
168m, all from shards. Onry.
Wish i had 700m like Late =(
I have 49 million
Lots of gil rewards, not enough gil sinks. 10% bazaar tax is probably the biggest gil sink in the game atm, which is standard for any game with an AH/bazaar system.
They can add vanity items like gentlemen hats and monocles for the rich. Non-combat companion pets? If the mount system goes the way of personal mounts, they can make armored, sophisticated looks you purchase separately and permanently attach to your standard chocobo. The customization potential for personal mounts is unlimited.
39mil here.
I have 17,026,174 Gil here. I don't craft/Gather, well a little, but not to the point where I can craft/gather for Gil.(as you can see in my Signature)
I also don't sell shards, I mostly just sell my old gears and money from leves.
I also wish I had more money ; ; What Craft Rank do you guys start making money? :O
I also use a lot of money for Gears.
I have yet to make any money with CRP at 22. No one buys arrows or masks, so I just use the arrows and NPC the masks for a measly 700g each.
I've made a good amount of money with TAN at 22. Certain armors sell for 50k-80k each, and only cost me about 10-20k each to make. Less if I already have the leathers, which I usually get from just leves. Each piece also gives me about 400-600 SP so it's good for leveling too.
Still nothing compared to those who crafted early, though.
eight-hundred million.. errr
prolly like 45 mils between my chars and retainers. I'd say a good 80% came right out of the system (leves, vendor) and other 20% from players pockets.
It's great that anyone can make the gil they need without it being a chore, but the amount you can pull directly out of XIVs bank over time is frightening.. Would be groovy if leves randomly gave bonus SP in place of the gil reward or something, but now I am getting off topic :p
It does annoy me a little, I mean my method was the easiest, its rank 1 synth, and its 1 item, and its very few synths lol. But I spent hours upon hours doing it, repeatedly, boringly. And it accumulated over the months XD Though I do agree the economy is out of hands. I only have this much cuse theres absolute nothing to waste it on, think most I wasted was like 20m when I bought all the faction gears lol Then traded 2 sets to friends.
Last time I looked (a day or two ago) I was at ~17.8mil but I don't actually actively try and make gil anymore as there isn't really stuff I want to spend it on. Most of it is probably from leves, rewards from missions/quests and selling old junk (bulk materials from crafting or old gear etc).
I think this game has hidden gil sink that call "Skill training"
Because when all crafters train their level, they use a lot of crystal/shard to train it.
After get finish product, most of them was sell to NPC as junks.
And gil that get from NPC is far lower than crystal/shard cost.
But all crafters have advantage that they can craft stuffs and sell it back to all melees and got cash back again lol
gil aint worth what it used to be, i remember when i was a kid you worked hard for just 10 gil.
You guys are just asking to be hacked.
Since i stopped buying materials for crafting since i capped 6 of my crafts ive topped 40mil finaly
Anyways, I gave away over 35 million gil worth of items when I "quit" and now I have around 15 million. I don't know how it stays at that value though given the amount of worthless junk I am always buying. And never selling.
I have a good amount of gil. Most of this was made in the first couple months of the game. I farmed shards/crystals, made 5-10m in the first week alone of CE launch. Then alchemy, selling dyes, shards, glues etc.. easily hit 50m before the new year.
Now I rarely sell anything, most of my gil comes from npc'ing finished items that I farm all the materials for, including shards. So my cost is time only, and gain gil. If I really wanted, I could make 5m/week without having people buy anything from me. There is definitely a major need for gil sinks.
I gave away at least 300-400m+ worth of gear/weapons etc just to LS members. If anyone knows me, I craft anything I can and give for free to LS Members who help in the process of getting that item made. (farming or shards/crystals donations)
I'm at 800k because this crafting fatigue won't go away and I'm just tossing out money ; ;
