Honestly I'd just be happy with the chicken dance. We need a chicken dance event, where we have to perform the chicken dance to attack mobs, similar to the firedance event from 1.0.

Some interactive emotes would be nice, like a High 5. TF2 made it possible.
It would simply be <target player> /high5, the targeted player can respond to it with the same emote. Having a lala jump up to high 5 would be hilarious.

Something like this for any future dance emotes would be nice as well.

Also, I'd like another option for standing stances. I have yet to meet a person in my server who likes to use the Miqo F stance with hands behind the head. Everyone I've seen uses only the folded arms one.

In some MMOs, you can use a special emote (like /dance*) that lets you sync up with other dancing players. Could we get something like that, too?

I would personally like a /squat emote! I notice a lot of NPCs doing squats and being a big FF7, of course I want it for PCs. If it could be persistent, that would also be wonderful.

Make sure you also fix it so that using other emotes while during a Chance Pose posture doesn't bring you back to default! T-T I nod and my arms unfold!

Also <3 Change Pose for ground sitting, pretty please? My backside is yearning to touch the ground.

Edit: I also hope they will make so that facial emotes are static like dances and sitting emotes are. Having to /annoyed every few seconds is... /annoying.

How about emotes where you interact with other players? Like /telljoke gets the player you target to /laugh.

Please also tell the team to think about clipping when designing hair and armor pieces. The Gloam and Auroral chests have horrible clipping with shoulder length hair.

Makes me sad. :(

As a roleplayer, I don't see my Miqo'te Female ever using that pose, not until she is arrested and intimated to put hands behind her head. <_<; I am verily jealous of that other pose Hyur Midlander females have.

I find myself wanting to type /sigh somewhat frequently... And invariably feeling disappointed when I remember nothing happens.

Also, ground sitting change poses, and the ability to go straight to a particular one without needing to cycle through them all. I'm not sure it quite counts as an emote, but being able to set a default expression to something other than 'passively neutral' would be neat too.

could we make M Miqo'te actually sit down instead of that stupid squat an stalk /sit? please and thank you?

If you're suggesting emotes similar to dances that actually produce "music", and or involve multiple instruments that we as players can combine together (when standing in town seeking parties), then I am ALL for this! (emotes where a player pulls out an instrument 'literally' and plays it)

Eh, I think it'd be more funny if whenever I died someone played a 'real' violin. If it's just a visible emote, I may miss their attempt at humor. ;p


But yes ... I digress, a true violin emote may have more TOTALLY FRUITFUL uses, such as passing the time forming a band while waiting in DF .. or while discussing tactics in a raid.

I'd play more if there was an emote to make lalafells climb into other race's shoulders/arms like the Sultana.

Maybe a /dustoff for after an intense battle, a /nono finger waving pose for those naughty ones, or a /tsun folded arms and turned up nose for those who simply can't be bothered with such foolishness?

Also I'd love to be able to do the Highlander/Hildibrand muscle man pose. That cracks me up every time.

Not sure if its been mentioned yet, but as a miqote, i wanna be able to do the hume dance. The miqote npcs in ul'dah do it! why can't i?!

A sitting emote like the Batman when he's crouched on the ledge of a building for female Miqo'te. Call it /crouch!

Also, a silent Limit Break emote preforms the motions for a limit break without any of the special effects (maybe a small buster sword).

The quest to unlock passage into the Gold Saucer should award you with Cloud's and Tifa's victory fanfare(s?)!

I would like to the address the statements regarding the F Miqo'te doze emote while on bed in the FC houses. I would also like to see an actual sleep emote for that, however the doze emote I think is cute plus "doze" is not really sleeping. My Miqo'te looks like she was daydreaming, and dozed off for a few minutes. Don't change that emote, just add a nice sleep emote. Since Miqo'te are cat like maybe curled in a ball with a hand over their face?
My other emote I would like to see has to do with the new ability that makes it so your character looks directly at you, using the pause key. I think it would be cool if there were some emotes tied in with that. . One such emote has to do with being wet in a rainstorm. I would love to see them turn and look at you and say something like, "excuse me but i am getting wet here, can i please go inside somewhere to dry off? They could also sneeze and accuse you of trying to get them sick.

After the amount of crappy puns I made today along with another player while we were in Praetorium as part of the Main Scenario Roulette, we deserve it! Because after having a 'shocking' 2nd boss fight, a 'descending' interest in the 3rd, an 'elevating' experience with Ultima phase 1, and 'pulling a Johnny Cash' with Ultima phase 2, I think everybody needs that right now.
