I was kicked once at the beginning of Patch 2.1 after the battle just before I could get my greedy paws on the loot. I did not take it personal. Other players had bigger interests in the loot I guess. :P

If you communicate at all with your pt and don't go afk every 5 minutes there is no reason to kick. I only kick people if they go afk more than once for more than a minute at a time. If its skill, 99% of the time you can just explain to them what to do and pull through. AFKers can go to hell though.
I generally don't choose to kick people from groups. It's usually a big waste of time.
I'm honestly more likely to choose to leave a group than I am to choose to kick a player.
never get kick but alot other player from same df get kick for being new, do 1 or 2 mistake bec new,low gear level bec those hardcore demand high level gear for low level dungeon
I've never been kicked! What amazes me is I'm fairly outspoken (never mean, but I will tell someone off for being rude to others), so it surprises me that I've never gotten vote-kicked.
(Although, there was one time I DCed from CT and came back to find out they had vote-kicked me. Does that count? I sure hope not.)
I've never been kicked, and I don't think I have been on a team where someone else has been kicked either. Not counting CT because I don't always know what is going on in the other teams. I can say, I was once on my BRD class, in a WP and the OMGzSPEEDRun Tank bailed as soon as he looked at the healers gear and saw she had a i70 melded weapon instead of a sparkled Thyrus.
In most cases where I'm guessing alot of other people use vote kick, our folks talk it out and figure what the problem is before hitting the gtfo button. Luckily we haven't had any troll cases where it was necessary. I think Balmung has it's trolls, but of all the thread posts, it may just be the least I have seen where some of this craziness goes on.
SO HAPPY TO BE ON BALMUNG FOR THAT.
I've never been kicked - though my main is WHM, I have been a rather horrible BLM from time to time.
Oh, and I vote kicked once :P
Never been kicked yet. Only ever kick if they DC for too long. It's weird, I've done terribly in some roles, but the party just puts up with me. I suppose that's no reason to kick though.
Does it voluntary count?... Oh, well, I guess yes.
I'd say I have never been kicked despite being a noob, but already got kicked few times because joined the wrong dungeon and asked for kick me. Oh, also is 'that one' where I afked 6 mins without advise because got a call phone and they kicked me. (I don't understand what's the point in kicking a tank for 6 minutes afk at all.)
Of being kicked? Probably. But I'm not going "/wrist" over it like a lot of people here do. And the FEW times will not out weight all the times where I know I missed up, apologized, and everyone said "No worries" Everyone always stresses on the bad and not the positives. I've played games where the dungeons had 5-10 hour cool downs and people would kick you just because their friend wants to join. Atleast here most of the time you have to give them a reason before they vote kick you.
I'm never been kicked, I have however been the cause of players leaving due to me giving them job advice which they choose to ignore.
Not to be a dick or anything but I'm sure at some point you'll meet that one person that hits your trigger I thought nothing could bother me either till something did so much so I had to log out and do something else. The whole time getting upset that I let a stranger get me that upset.
Never been kicked from a group; if I make a mistake I own up to it and admit that I messed up, and I think this is the key here. Too many people from my experience will either try and stay willfully ignorant, or when they get called out on it, they get super offensive. Seriously not trying to criticize, just trying to make things run smoother, and you people take it like I've insulted your entire family tree line while subsequently burning your house and all your possessions on your Birthday. I've never seen people get so sensitive before.
I have been kicked, because tank would not stop dying....
and I was dps.
Never been kicked, never initiated kick. I did "yes vote" a kick, though, once, against a player who was being very abusive toward the tank in our party. He was so obnoxious, I can't help but wonder now whether he was trying to get himself kicked. Either way, everyone was relieved once he was out of the party (and since he was a DD, he was very quickly replaced).
I have yet to be kicked, but I try not to be a raging ass or make the run harder for everyone. So there's that. I've only heard of one guy getting kicked, and quite frankly, he deserved it. He went AFK like 3 times (That we know of) and copped an attitude when someone asked him why he queued if he was going to be so busy. That guy got kicked from the pt, and got kicked from the FC later for the same reason.
Never been kicked here either, at least, not yet.
I have run into a couple of players that pushed all of my buttons, though. I did the only thing I could think of... kept my mouth shut, gritted my teeth, and got on with the dungeon. If you can't say something nice, say nothing at all.
Never been kicked either, but I have left out of disgust twice now.
I've never been vote-kicked out of a duty. I was, however, oddly kicked out of a Coil PF group a few nights ago. I'd joined the group as a SCH and after a few minutes of sitting around and waiting for more people to join, I was informed I had left the party. I'd been fiddling around with something at the time and thought I might have accidentally left the party, so I rejoined via PF. A few moments later, I was informed that I had left the party again. At that point I sent a tell to the leader asking whether I had been kicked (no response).
So, PSA, it's sort of nice to say something like "Sorry, got an FC mate incoming to fill a heal slot" or "Oops, we screwed up the PF" or "We're going to do EX primals instead" instead of just booting someone out of the party with no explanation.
I've never been kicked on either of my characters. I have only seen one vote to kick prompt (in Haukke story mode), which I dismissed at once. Right after I did, I was informed by the others that the tank went AFK. Once I went back through the chatlog, I realized the tank went into super-douche mode over a simple mistake. He/she then logged off....
I requested another vote because both DPS tried to continue without a tank (and I had no idea how to initiate it). One of them initiated it, and the old tank was gone. Another tank arrived very quickly, and we owned everything in the Manor from there. It was a considerable struggle with super-douche tanking anyhow....
1000 dungeons achievement, never been kicked either :D
But line I draw at: Someone in full 100% crafter gear SBiing in a dungeon, couple or 3 accs, np. full crafter/gatherer is taking things way too far. Or someone who is intentionally preventing the party from progressing in any manner. Either from trolling or not taking any advice whatsoever to actually improve and make the run progress. Or abusive, aggressive players that demand everyone caters to them.
I've only been kicked once.
It was in CT.
A tank in our group was wearing full crafting gear with the exception of a Zenith weapon and an Allagan chestpiece.
I had played with him before, and he was wiping the Alliance on purpose in our last run.
Myself and several others called him out on it, and I told the Alliance what this guy does.
I was kicked.
From what I heard, that run was absolutely disastrous. I dodged a bullet with that one.
i was almost never kicked, i asked the party if they didn't mind waiting while i restarted my router, would only take a minute they said they wouldn't mind i resetted my router logged back in and i was kicked :c but other then that one time i have never been truly kicked. most DF or PF vote abandon at a drop of a hat tho XD
Never been kicked.
I've got several characters, my main and er... "main" alt have never been kicked (at least I don't recall ever being kicked on them).
My only other dungeon-worthy alt (in the level 30+ range I think, has been for months) has been once though.
Went like this: Dungeon loaded, displays that someone is new, someone asks who is of course. Now, me being me, I assumed since it's a lowbie dungeon they'd offer advice to the new person. I say the character is an alt, but I know the dungeon like the back of my hand (Haukke I think, was a SCH), and then loading screen back to where ever I was. Good times. Didn't report, thought it was funny that they were so quick about it.
EDIT: Actually I was kicked from Titan HM a few times when learning it (I took my sweet time to start my relic quest, was pretty soon after the system was implemented, so abuse was high at the time just to use it I think).
tl;dr
Cool Story Bro.
No class can really carry a bad healer.
I also never got kicked, but thats mainly because i dont do annoying things. People mostly get kicked if they tend to be asses, do obvious trolling or DPS making the tank uncomfortable.
Ofc there are exceptions, but im pretty sure most of these "lulz i was just giving advises man!" complaints, are people that did it in a harsh way.
As for myself, i only kickvoted people, when they were keep attacking the wrong target, even with marks, and the persons already having atleast one character on 50, back in the day, when i was leveling my paladin.
3 months later i still report negative
I've never been kicked either but than again I don't belong to those selfish pricks who go full SB in dungeons.
Still have yet to be kicked from a party whilst in duty. I have been kicked after joining from PF... it was like join, 3 seconds later, kick. But I suspect that was because a friend wanted to come along so they had to make space.
Never happened to me yet. Don't treat people bad and they won't get rid of you.
Never been kicked and usually I start a vote to kick someone if that person is AFK or dc 3 to 5 minutes ago even if that person has the worst gear or the worst dps I dont like to start a kick vote because they are learning and I was a noob once before as well. The FFXIV community it's really cool in cactuar or at least for me.
I have been kicked once. When it happened I felt a bit annoyed and a bit shocked too, because I thought I would never ever be kicked from anything (as I do my best to play my role well and consider myself to be polite and cooperative).
It was longstop hard of all places. I was there as WHM and the other party members were WAR tank and 2 BRDs. Tank splits the first pull in half but the party does the normal speedrun stuff and everything goes well. I notice neither of the BRDs is singing paeon despite of pulls taking a bit longer than usual to kill. Instead one of them keeps singing ballad for me. I say thanks but I won't need it in this instance but don't mention the paeon.
After first boss the tank makes the normal speedrun pull with all the gliders. They take minutes and minutes to kill them. I notice BRDs aren't singing paeon so I assume they're either attacking the mobs one by one (not likely as none of them are dying) or running out of TP without doing anything to it (as the mobs do take forever to kill). I start having trouble keeping up with gliders jumping on everyone and tank starting to take a lot of damage (I assume he was running out of his defensive cooldowns too) at the same time despite of keeping Medica 2 up. I bene the tank, get people to full HP with Medica 2 and DS medica, the mobs still aren't dead. In the end I can't keep up with damage everyone is taking and tank goes down, everyone else following.
I say in party chat I'm sorry but I just couldn't keep up with heals. The BRD ballading earlier says "Thanks a lot WHM, now we have to spend much more time in here". Tank says "Why did you refuse the ballad given you earlier then?" I explained it wasn't the lack of MP, I just couldn't keep up with the healing speed when the group took forever to kill the pull that normally goes down very fast on speedruns. I said 2 BRDs just aren't very optimal for AoE damage there, but said it's not their fault. Tank said "Are you serious? 2 BRDs slow AoE damage?" and yeah, they are, at least compared to 2 BLMs or BLM+BRD or even BRD+DRG, from my experience (I have BRD too). I don't know if it could work, maybe yes, but in this particular group at least the pull took ages to kill compared to what I'm used to seeing.
Next thing I saw was me being outside of instance, confused. Later I checked the party members from lodestone and noticed the WAR and the ballad BRD blaming me for the wipe were from the same FC. :P Now every time I do that pull in Longstop I smile at what happened in that party.
I'm too nice to everyone to get kicked! But I also expect that I might get bad or new players in my group every time I search for a dungeon. Adnd I'm fine with it. If they struggle and you manage to give them advice that makes it easier they're so grateful and that makes me feel good!
I was kicked once and all I can remember was that I decided to do some duty finders after a long night out at the bar. I'm guessing my healing was crap but hey I had fun : )
Never been kicked either from a dungeon.
Only time I do get kicked is if my router messes up and have no way to get back into the game at all for ages but that's a rarity.
I don't think I've ever been kicked from a Duty... God knows I've done dumb stuff and made the group wipe at times, but when that happens I've apologized and tried to improve, so people have been cool with it.
