Gear with Long Term Goals
Will you consider introducing Gear with Long Term Goals; something that players can work towards for more than a few days, and that will also be relevant for more than 1 major patch?
(Sort of a like a more manageable version of the original Final Fantasy concept of "Relics".)

Meldable Level Crafting Gear Increase and Melding capabilities
Will there be in increase in the Meldable Crafting Gear and the removal of this ridiculous limitation on what can be melded to it?
Meldable Crafting Gear should keep up with the Major Dungeon and Mob Drops. Looking at the progression of gear introduction, this has not been the case. Level 90 Dungeon/Notorious Mob drops should require level 90 crafting gear be available. Additionally, if someone wants to gear up as the Rock of Gibraltar with 5 level 5 Vitality Materia in every gear slot, so be it as there is always a trade off to the various stats. Maybe they could solo a Titan Extreme Solo Mob but it may take them 10 hours to do it. Who cares, it is what provides the bragging right. Right now, everything is essentially cookie cutter, i.e.. booorrrriiinnngggggggg.
new relic upgrades and BEYOND!!!
i love relics and how you have to do the quest to get them , and by the looks of it there be more quest to makes them stronger, do you plan on keeping the relics that we have and just upgrading them thru quests or do you plan on making it so later on we'll just throw these away and swap them up for new ones. i honestly have to say i wouldn't like to just throw them away, but then again the option of new weapons is interesting. that being said if plan are to keep relics by upgrading do you plan on doing limit breaks for each class specific for each weapon provided they have the upgraded relic, down the road, for example monk - pummel, black mage - ultima, etc. thank you for your time.
p.s. anything new on companions?
