Same collecting all the cards took longer than the actual game did it was awesome :)

I like this idea :) It would be a whole other game if we had a collection to complete too!

I think it would give people something to do while waiting on df or pf which can only be a good thing.

They could do this with the soultrapper maybe give a rare chance the card is actually a boss card instead of the monster you take a picture of.

Did you find the queen of cards later on and try and win your cards back? I remember playing Irvines mum for ages trying to get the Quezacotl card lol good times, good times :D

Would love a card game I could play with FC mates in our house while waiting to que up or something. Would push the idea of having a poker table to put in our houses. Anyone find any lore references to any card game weather it be erozean poker or like magic?

blitz was fun too but i don't know how they could add it to FFXIV i would rather they added a card game gives players
something to collect as well as play.

Not to be a party pooper, but I've been saying I want a blitzball like sidegame in FFXIV, complete with leagues and tournaments.

Been away from the game for a bit, has there been any mention of anything like this being implemented or any kind of mini game similar to this being added?

Komoto: I personally really loved FFVIII's Triple Triad card game and I played it a lot. We're planning to make it so it's not simply a card game, but also gives you the option to battle NPCs like Minfillia to collect cards. So we're looking into a game card based on this idea.

From the last live letter looks like we may be getting a card game :)

Just as long as the "Random" rule never makes a reappearance.

I didnt mind the random rule to much i didn't like the one where your opponent chooses your cards i dont know if that rule would work on ARR.

Anyone know what patch gold saucer will be released in or has it not been said yet?

Really looking forward to gold saucer patch now :)
