Congrats OP, I personally hate the mount because my elezen looks absolutely silly on it! But your guy is looking good :D

to be honest I wan't even trying to get the first one. took me 20 minutes because I didn't skip any cs.

I have seen about 4 players with this mount on Odin last week.

The Drake mount was a really awesome idea but my character looks dumb and awkward on it, the animation sucks and it seems slow. Awesome that it can breathe fire, but I really think SE should have put in more effort to make this a sweet mount. It should have been bigger and they should have at least gave it a saddle/seat. Just. . . tacky. A real shame, because I was looking forward to this since they announced it way back in the 1.0 days.

That's impossible, as the dailies are time gated and today is the first day it is possible to actually get the mounts.

You probably saw people doing the daily that requires you to ride the drake for whatever reason, usually blowing up barrels and made the mistake of thinking it was the real mount.

Unless time travel was suddenly invented that is.

OP you've said in this thread that "it was a prank", "you don't care", and "it's not important" but you made a thread with screenshots to boast. hmmm. think you have the not caring backwards.

16 more days, and i'll have both mounts. Not many can say that.

I dunno. I consider myself a "serious" gamer, but there is no way I'll ever be willing to do the "work" it would take to get this mount so quickly. End of the day it still functions like any other mount so.....Perhaps I need more epeen.

I'm a day behind and get my Drake tomorrow and I know I liked seeing the pic. In fact it's the first Pic I've seen.

This site doesn't seem to be entirely accurate. It shows somebody getting the Amalj'aa achievement at 15:59 GMT, which was a minute before the dailies even reset. It also shows a few 1-2 minutes after reset which would be impossible even if you somehow got to skip the daily part and move right into the final quest.

I've seen it so many times. It's ugly.

If that really bothers you, you should really just take a chill pill. On the first day of the open beta I took my lvl 13 lancer and did a death run to all the high lvl areas, grabbing every crystal save I could. Places like Mor Dhona had no people at all. In my linkshell I yelled "Woo Hoo! First one ever here in history!!!"

So glad to hear that there isn't a 4th wave of quests lol. But why does this mount cost so much? Normally after such a long line of quests I would have expected to get it as a reward for free. I try to help saving some money for our guild house but that Drakon is really nice so maybe I need a priority check. :P
