I am in agreement with the original post.

If all 8 people have the same ranked pvp gears. The BLM, SMN, SCH, WAR comp is very hard to beat due to the amount of targets the other team has to worry about. SMN can just put the summon pet on the healer as well as the war to lock that healer down. BLM can just sleep or sprint and have people chase if they are targetting him/her. That puts the SMN alone and casting freely with debuffs. So what are you going to purify? The sleep or the disease? Sure there's diminishing returns, but that only lowers the amount of time you are debuffed until they cast it on you a 4th time. By then, you're all dead already.

War/smn/sch is very op at moment。


War/smn/sch + DRG or brd or Blm will own pretty much another job combination.

Most group farm pvp point by this way. War/smn/sch + random

Pvp has zero balanced at moment.

i seriously doubt there will be has many pvpers in final fantasy XIV two months from now when new mmos start being released with better open pvp and arenas.. and probably much needed balance which ffxiv lacks a lot.

Holy crap Warthain, you are one hell of an attention whore. Every post you make is about how terrible PVP is and how you are going to quit and others are going to quit because of it. If you are really this butt hurt about it then do as you say and just leave already.

To make the point clear, PVP in FFXIV is a passtime. It's not the core of the game. On top of that it's brand freaking new, it still needs time to be adjusted, reworked, and balanced. If PVP is the only thing you wanted in this game then tough titties. Either learn some patience and deal with it for now or GTFO and play a game that is all about PVP. If all you are going to do is bitch and moan anout something then you aren't contributing to any sort of feedback or discussion on the topic. You are simply whineing like a child seeking attention and comfort. Please grow up...

you dont like i dont really care... i will keep shoving down the community throat the issues with pvp... attention whore or not, you dont like it, tough cookie i dont care about your opinion either... and if one side of the game is a passtime so be it, but thats not an excuse to make it terrible to half the community.

Haha I did, you stated nothing in particular that I take offense to and poorly at that. If you want your retort to have any kind of impact I would suggest you brush up on your grammar and sentence structure. English isn't even my first language sp tough titties using that excuse. Also don't assume you are speaking for any kind of majority. Whole PVP in it's current state is far from perfect you aren't helping it at all by making post after post about it being broken and that you are going to quit FFXIV because of how broken it is. If you want to complain then do it, and at least try to be critical about it. Offer solutions and substitutes, strategies like some of the other forum goers. Threatening to quit is a waste of time and a dumb attempt at attention whoring. Fact is, if you were going to quit, YOU WOULD HAVE. You wouldn't waste your or our time by threatening to do it. So if you are so unhappy with the current state of the game then simple quit and come back later or don't! NO ONE CARES! Either shit or get off the pot. Simple as that. Have a nice day.

Well I do have a question, as a BLM I have about 535 magic defense, does int effect magic defense? Used to be mnd in ffxi, but has it flipped over to int? Because at 0 morale, I'm not finding the SMNs to be the terrible OP classes, people are seeing them as.

Yoshi-P is very methodical, there is a method to his madness. Let's look at this from the defensive side of things:

Stats wise we have
Morale
Physical and Magical defenses
Resistances, both ability types and elemental types
Block
Parry

Screaming nerf because we haven't figured out the stats and their effects defensive wise is wasting a lot of time in matters of defenses. We know PvE stats do effect offensive, otherwise pvp gear would only have morale and accuracy. Each defensive stat I listed has a priority, it's up to us figure out which are major and which are minor.

Solo-queue Shit summoners =/= Pre-made summoners

How much different is a premade smn to a premade blm, with the same gear, as opposed to a pug smn vs a pug blm with no gear, I would say that heavy magic defense tends to play a role. I see not a soul attempting to figure out the stats, and everyone whining about premades. (even though premades are queued seperately from pugs) If you don't use common sense and utilize the defenses in the game, then a smn should tear you up unless you learn to gear for some defenses.

Thanks, guy. Also why dont you hover over the Morale stat if you actually play the game. And maybe queue a single pvp game before posting here so you dont look like an idiot not knowing you'll be matched with a 3man premade 8/10 times.
