It's really all dependent on what kind of party and players that you have.

I had some tough times in Qarn, before I cleared it roughly two months ago. Aside from learning the boss mechanics and overall layout of the dungeon, there were times where the parties that I joined with on DF just didn't mesh together as well. I also had parties where we smashed through bosses and trash mobs, alike. Thankfully everyone I met in those instances had great attitudes, even when we couldn't clear the Tetrasaur (sp) and had to bow out of the dungeon after over an hour.

I will max both tribes out to get the Gobdue and Dragon companion but that will be it. The quests are way to redundant to enjoy them. You can only level chars with it that are about to hit 50 soon anyways, the EXP you get is lesser than a single FATE or leve quest. The shards, philo tomes and GIL are a nice little something but that's it.

Finding the items you need is pain in the ass because they choose two areas where it is awful to search for quest items because you are attacked all the time. Last time the items were on the ground level? Be sure this time they are on top of a hill where you look last. You need a particular enemy? Compete with dozens of others to get them and fight like street dogs for their meal.

I will also never understand why walking around a lot is a key element in this Game. I am on the second level of the Sylph/Amalji quests and after accepting the quests, I can walk over a minute till I see the 1st quest destination point. Are time sinks really needed that much to hide that there is still not enough content? To me it seems they can't design anything without making people wait or put themselves to sleep while walking around.

How about 1 player dungeons for tribe quests? Use parts of existing dungeons if it is too expensive to create completely new content but give us a change from running around and searching for things that do not give any meaningful reward. Tribe quests are out since merely 2 weeks and most of the people in my FC are already annoyed and stopping doing them. I do not know which quests are worse, the Sylph invisible walking quests or the Amalji "search search search the item" quests.

You can start the Beast Tribe Quests after fighting Garuda in the story and completing its respective quest.

Rank 1 - You get 6 allowance, but can only use 3 per race, Rank 2, you still get 6 but can use them however you like!

Loving Beastman Dailies alot, especially the one where it's a timed race and you have to go from checkpoint to checkpoint in under 25 seconds as a ghost, while doing the objectives.
It seems each day I get a new one.

Honestly can't wait for the Ixali, and Kobolds as well :D

Well, if you have done quests religiously everyday and then focused on one only after reaching rank 2, you should be getting rank 3 today. I decided to keep my progress divided as it is shorter in the long run, but for anyone who is now rank 3, can you tell me what else is available from the shops? Anything interesting?

- You unlock 3 new Dyes from the Tribe Merchant after the Rank up.
- You unlock new quests that gives 10pts after the Rank up. (3 Mythology Tomes -- lvl.48 quests)
- It will take 510 points to reach the next Rank.

So, if you continue with the maxing of the same tribe, you will do 3 quests worth 10pts each and 3 quests worth 7 pts each (51 per day) and will get to next Rank in 10 days (same time it took for the previous rank).

See you in 10 days to see if the next rank gives better rewards.

Myths? I only see that we get 15 philos and 10 rep points

10473 xp, 780 gil, 15 philos, 10 reps

Rank 4 is the final rank, according to achievements anyway

some gives 15 philos, some gives 2/3 myths.

How do you rank up? I have the 150/150 rep, but not sure how to rank up

The beast leader gives quest- look for him

If you focus on 1 tribe, takes 10 days per rank, if you split it, takes 18.

So if you focus on 1 tribe after you rank up, can have your mount in 20 more days. If you split between them, will take 36 more days total for both (as opposed to 40, but I'd rather take 4 more days total and get *a* mount 16 days earlier :P)

anyone know if u abandoned the beastmen quest, will u get back ur allowance? reason is I accepted the lower quest by mistake and should have use it on the rank 3 ones.

Nevermind guys, I took the risk to abandoned one and it did gave you back the allowance. Woohooo.
