Who is Calling in Sick Tommorrow?

I'm out of class for winter break, so not me :)

All we need is someone to post that notice from 1.0 about discarding rl... lmao

All those years spent playing WoW taught me what a dumb idea this would be. You don't make plans to actually play on patch day. If you can, that's lovely, but for the sake of your own sanity, you set your expectations to rock bottom.

Almost all of the time during the first day of the patch there's all sort of connection issues and such so I'll take it as a normal work day.

Remember how much Square Enix screwed up when they originally launched the game? Now they are messing with the data centers and trying to release a new patch at the same time. We'll be lucky if the game is online and stable again by Christmas.

Too many times I've been burned after major patches servers never cooperate right the first day after. Or at least around the beginning. I'd rather work and make some cash :D

I took a month off work :)

My 35.75/hr says Fuck this game and its producers! Im all about making my bank!

I have a dr appointment tomorrow, so no work regardless. Just not gonna be able to play all day.

Honestly don't know what there is to do that would make it worthwhile, coil is still the only content worth the time... Most people do that after work anyways so, yeah. :(

Why would you want to waste a day off when they are going to be down to fix things they broke tomorrow. and the day after that.

i got subpoena'd to court in 9 hours, why me!!!

(Un)fortunately, I AM sick, so I will be staying home anyway. I guess the timing couldn't have been better! -jumps up and down- 30 more minutes (I hope >_<)

Last time I called in sick for a patch, they extended it into the next day. So I called in sick again, and they extended it again.

What I gained was 48 hours of doing other stuff and I lost 2 vacation days.

I'm not calling sick, however I did go to sleep at 7 PM ET yesterday to wake up early to get some play time in before work.

no need to lie on illness lol :)
