It is unfortunate, but as per lore male Miqo'tes are ... well, rare (contrary to player population), and fairly reclusive. They're apprehensive of outsiders, and are rarely seen. The very few that do make themselves well-known are leaders or adventurers in some form or another, the latter tending to break away from the typical traditions of their people.
That's my understanding, anyway.
I'd love to see more male Miqo'te NPC's. Also, this topic is becoming too serious. Needs more random kitties.
