Ah.. I have all crafts at 50 and every one is geared, gear for various levels for gathering jobs, and all of my battle classes are geared up at their current level. I always have a large variety of mats inside my inventory and I have absolutely 0 issues with inventory/armory space. Learn how to organize or wait until the auto-sort comes out because clearly you're underestimating the amount of space they give you. Sure, if you have a billion random mats in your inventory it's not going to work but that's common sense. Not to mention my retainers always have a full mb and several hq items waiting to be sold sitting in their inventory and they aren't even full.
Smn, Sch, Pld, War, Mnk, Drg are all 50. Blm, Whm and Brd are all 37 and sharing most gear. Ltw, Alc, and Cul are all 50 and share a few pieces of gear. I don't need leveling gear for my other crafts because I only level them with leves. Gathering all share gear as well.
Not sure where the space is but I have lots of room...
Yes I do, which is why I continue to play this game.
If I wasn't enjoying my time here, I'd just leave. No reason to stick around if you hate it...that's idiotic.
I have "fun" on Monday and by fun I mean do coil and for the 11th week a left side bard drop has yet to occur. Then get depressed over the horrible loot tables in coil and wish they would make it a run however much you want with random chests because this rate is terrible. Then Tuesday comes around and I no longer care about coil and just help randos with their relics/whatever just to keep occupied. Upon 2.1 however, I feel with the amount of new content to explore, I maybe occupied for a while, so yay^-^
Thinking of buying GTA5 or GW2 . I like this game but starting to get burnt out , only thing keeping me going is the hope that future content will be coming out soon but lets be real .
If Ive levelled almost 5 jobs to 50 already , how are they going to give me enough content to keep me playing for the next 3 months ?
you could take on a new adventure in the real world, hike a mountain, learn to play ultimate frizbee, find the cure for cancer.......
People complaining and asking for change and refusing to quit, means they like the game, just not the decisions the developers have made. What's wrong with that?
im still having fun, got a few jobs at 50, been in coil a few times but no luck with loot. have leveled some crafters, made a bunch of friends. ya id say im still having fun and that there is plenty to do, i honestly dont see what peoples problem is. there is so much crap to do in this game, you have only yourself to blame if you spammed the same 2 dungeons till your brain melted and now you're burnt out
I am having fun for 45 minutes a week
if they took off the lockouts they'll just raise the cost of items most likely more then you can get in 24hrs.
I am, but not as much as before.
I took my sweet time (almost 50 days) to get Arcnaist to 50 since all my other DoW/M classes were at cap already. Almost inmediatly I was running WP/AK every day, and just the other week I got my first Relic. For now I dont have any other goals other than to get more myth tomes (yay running same dungeons) and try my hand at Coil. I'm worried what will happen once/if I clear Coil.
Doing stuff might be fun, but doing it for a reason is way better than just because.
A lot of people have the child mentality of "gimme gimme right now or ill threaten to quit"
those people haven't played other mmos from the very beginning even Wow when it first came out has people sitting around for new content. If you are not happy un-sub and come back in a few months.
Spoiled annoying children will always be this way in any place. Stop crying go level crafting or chocobos or go outside for god's sake.
I agree. I posted in another thread about how WoW had to wait 7 months after launch to get structured PvP in the game. Before that, it was mostly just world pvp. If WoW was re-released today, those same people would cry "Im bored, im quitting, this game sucks, I shouldnt have to wait for content."
Not sure how spamming the same fates over and over on new classes is much different from spamming the same dungeons over and over on one class... but whatever.
When I'm not grinding myth for Whm (only just started that, and I only queue up for wp/ak twice a day, which gives me plenty of time each day to play other content in the game, and 2 days of breathing room where I don't have to queue up for it at all), or leveling up drg, pld, or btn, I like to hop back on Whm and queue up for the earlier dungeons with in-progress checked, just for fun and to help others.
Just the other day, I landed in Haukke Manor, and there was only a summoner there. her group had gotten to the final boss, but the tank had gone afk for 17 minutes or something so 2 quit, and I guess the tank either disconnected, or came back and quit. So I stuck it out with her for a few minutes until another DPS showed up. We tried taking the boss on with Carby as the tank, didn't succeed, so the monk left and came back as a tank, and another DPS popped in immediately, and then we won. THAT was fun, despite having completed that dungeon countless times before, not needing any of the gear involved, nor getting any exp progress out of it.
I started from day 1 before I knew what content would be in 2.0 to begin with. New Game= New Character Normally, it just so happens Yoshi-P was generous enough to let you ( and me) keep your 1.0 characters.
Have all 50's at the start of an MMO is unheard of, and you will mostly hit a wall with nothing to do in a MMO launch. So I personally felt it was "needed" to make a new character, so I can experience the game fresh.
Which is why I have plenty to do because I started over. ( And no I won't be making another character, that was a 1 time thing).
We've been hearing this a lot. Sounds like rushing through everything you need to do as fast as possible, to get it out of the way so you can go back to playing another game, or whatever irl things you wanna do. You're paying 15$ a month for about 12 hours of play. You're right, it really doesn't seem like a lot of fun.
I dunno, but if this was my case, I'd unsubscribe and save my 15$ for another game and/or maybe come back after a few months when there's new stuff I *want* to do.
Mm.. everyone here is basically complaining they're not allowed to do things at the super pace they want but in my opinion, restrictions like this need to be in place, not just to prolong content but to actually HELP some people who have no self control to balance real life and in game life. I think this is what a responsible company should be doing. There are a lot of easier ways SE could have used if they didn't care about the well being of their playerbase such as adding a super low rng on loot being dropped after initial lockout. This way people will be grinding coil like no tomorrow for a chance for another piece and thus giving them a purpose in their virtual lives and neglecting their real one.
Say what you may about "catering to casuals" but I see it more as "saving the hardcores"
Hello. I am a new poster and new to MMOs in general. I just wanted to say that I have been playing this game since mid October, and I'm still having a blast playing. I've been taking my time to enjoy the game's scenery and scale, that's why my class levels have been suffering, (I also started a female alt. to get the female exclusive event gear).
What I really wanted to mention is that fun is what is you make of it. I read a post about a guy who only leveled a combat class to 10 to unlock fishing and that's all he did, nothing wrong with it, just his preference on how he plays the game. So no matter what you do in the game, as long as you're still playing it you're are having some level of "fun".
Edit: *you are* having some level of "fun".
Not "you're are"
Why don't you edit your post instead of creating a new one to "edit"?
