Ishgard's opinion is no different than Garlea. Well the Garlean empire isn't explicitely compared to nazi germany in game so I guess I'd say Ishgard's opinion is even less something I care about

I'm not sure why you bring up Garlean Empire when they're the enemy of the game. Ishard's opinion does matter as we adventurers breifly aid then in the story line and attempt to recruit them in the war effort. Considering they are too busy fighting dragonkin, I highly doubt they would accept a Dragon like adventurer running amok.

I expect Ishgard to be future badguy content, I can't imagine any other reason to imply they have concentration camps. It would be a wierd thing but considering a bigot against non Elezen will continue being vaguely racist asshole towards you even if you play an Elezen in the archer quests I'm not really bothered.

I picked miqo'te because, after spending countless hours in character creation during the beta, this was the one race I could manage to get closest to the "late 40s mother of three" look. Hyur were either too aggressive/sexy (highlander) or too youthful (midlander). I didn't want to be a wildwood, and duskwight elezen couldn't come close. Lalafell were out of the question in that regard. I dislike the roegadyn noses. Soooo... There ya have it.

Not all miqo'te players chose the race for its sex and/or fetish appeal. :S

Could be reading comprehension on my end, but I do see Ishgard as future content but not as the Houses and such as the bad guys. I believe we'll help them with the dragon issue. Dragoon story quest could even hint at a future raid boss. Regardless, we may be stretching things a bit as Gria hail from Ivalice, not Eorzea. Lightning's weird...cross world thing hopefully wouldn't affect an entire species of critters getting uprooted from Ivalice and landing in Eorzea.

I still see lalafels ruling the diabolos server. Especially cuz I'm one of three hyurs in my fc. The rest are lalas. Fighting primals and demons with a sea of little people.

Roegadyn 4 lyfe.

Seriously though everyone I see is either a cat or lalafel. ): My poor character probably has neck problems with how often he has to look down.

Yeah, the funny thing is that with all the cat people around, it makes them look more just like common people (especially with how little variation they gave to faces for the catgirls). The upside is that it makes Elezens stand out (literally, since they tower over the common cat folk) and makes us look more important XD

Have to say I think the lalafells are much more prolific. I have had at least 10 groups in the Duty Finder be all lalafell. And I agree with the person who said Diabolos is ruled by Lalafells it seems. 1/3 of my FC is lalafell and every group I join for Titan or anything in Mor Dhona has at least 3 Lalafells.

Being as my FC is named after the FC leader's cat it is only fitting that the majority of the FC consists of Miqo'te.

That being said, since male Miqo'te were not an option in the 1.0 beta (and I briefly had a female Keeper though I spent most of my time on the 1.0 beta using a male Roegadyn) that was what I wanted to make. Also, now this may sound strange, he came to me in a dream. So my male Miqo'te here is as close to a representation to a dream I once had. The majority of the Miqo'te that I do see are female.

Also, I'm the only member in my family that isn't allergic to cats. Having a Miqo'te is the closest that I am ever going to get to having one.

Hard to miss Elezen anyways.. they're Eorzea's closest thing to Dhamels atm. :o Seriously.. I come up to the waist of one in my coil group >.> <.<

I could never pull off the ears and tail...just isn't me.

I actually don't know what the most common race on my server is...I see a lot of cats in the cities, but I play with more Elezen and Roe than anything...
