Why would ps3 players be jealous when FFXIV:ARR doesn't come out on ps4 at launch?

Why would I be? The PS4 beta doesn't start for another 4-ish months, and the PS3 version of FFXIV is not playable on PS4. Nor do any games I'm particularly interested in come out until next spring anyway. Owning a brand new console is cool and all, but it seems kind of pointless to kill myself to get one now when I could simply wait a few months, watch the price drop, and then pick it up when a game I'd actually play comes along. But whatever. To each his own.

I agree there is not much diversity in release titles after watch dogs and a few others got delayed into 2014, however there is nothing stupid about it. I pre ordered because I wanted it seeing as I love technology.

PS4 is so watered down from what Sony originally promised.

With the GUI lacking any customization to no music playback that you can get in the PS3...also the restrictions on where you can upload video too and export... to the fact you have to patch it immediately to just play movies on it -.-;;

Not jealous of this but I'll be eating popcorn and watching people venting on Nov 15th as the issues begin - sadly...

I'm sorry but they say this ANYTIME a new console comes out... buying one at the date of release is just begging for broken hearts and bricked boxes...

Both Console makers have proven this in their histories >.>;

This is why I will be waiting it out for a little while. Not only that, but the launch library is garbage, just like it was on the PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP, and PSV. However, that will not stop me from ordering THIS in advance! ^_^

Actually I believe Sony responded to the feedback on Twitter and said they'd look into the music playback and what not in the future...

And uh...when has Sony proven that their initial batch of consoles break? I've had my original backwards compatible (PS1 PS2) PS3. Never EVER have a problem with it.

Also never had a problem with Xbox. My friend gave me his a while ago because it "broke" but I never ever had a problem with it. I eventually gave it back to him and bought my own when the "slim" ones came out.
